CHAPTER 3

Y/N'S POV
After I drank Jihyo's blood yesterday, I magically recovered. My body started feeling as strong as rock but light as the air itself. I feel like I never, very powerful, with the world on my hands.

But what I did yesterday, oh god what I did. I betrayed myself and my principles and nothing's worse than that. If it couldn't be worse, Jihyo took advantage of my weakness and had relationships with me that I didn't enjoy.

She did everything by herself, and it was too painful, to the point that I couldn't stop crying. How could someone be so cruel? Vampires totally lack of emotions. How can they live this way? It's a pure torture, it feels like living without a reason or purpose.

-Jihyo: (enters your room) How are you doing? (smiles) Oh, I can see that your body is completely recovered now.
-Y/N: It seems like that.
-Jihyo: (starts touching your torso) Hmm, such a perfect body... I took the right decision when I turned you into a vampire. I'll be able to enjoy you eternally (smirks)

I don't answer, not even look at her. My gaze is fixed on the wall in front of me. If I learnt something during my time as her slave it was not to lock eyes with her. She can pierce your soul just by looking into your eyes, and I don't want to go through such thing.

-Jihyo: You can't remain naked forever though I would like to. I'll order the servants to bring you some clothing (smiles) You need to look neat now that we are a couple.
-Y/N: I don't remember accepting staying with you.
-Jihyo: You know what will happen if you don't stay here (serious) Don't make me get into such a bad mood, as a princess I have multiple duties. When I'm at home I want to be happily with you, can you understand it? (cups my cheeks)
-Y/N: (sighs) I'm still your slave?
-Jihyo: You are my boyfriend, Y/N. I've chosen you out of the million vampires who proposed to me.
-Y/N: Why? I'm not even an original vampire and I don't have romantic feelings towards you.
-Jihyo: You'll learn to love me, it's just a matter of time (smiles) And I chose you because I love how warm you are.
-Y/N: You stole that warmness from me the moment you made me drink your blood for the first time.
-Jihyo: But I can still feel it, it must be because of that humanity inside you (hugs you) I'm so lonely Y/N, you are the only one who could ever understand me.
-Y/N: You are obssesed with me, that's all.
-Jihyo: Whatever, let's change of topic (pecks my lips) I'll see you later, feel free to do whatever you want. This is you house now.
-Y/N: I'll run away.
-Jihyo: I'll find you if you do that. Everyone in this city know about you, I made sure of it. You can't run away from me.
-Y/N: What happened with Mina? And the organisation Bird?
-Jihyo: Who knows... Mobs who don't follow the rules are mostly killed once they are caught (smirks)

Just imagining that possibility makes me angry, unable to control my strength. I approach Jihyo and grab her by her neck pushing her hard against the wall.

-Jihyo: Y/N...
-Y/N: Tell me that you didn't kill her (serious)
-Jihyo: Let me go! (scratches your face)
-Y/N: Where is she?! (angry)
-Jihyo: Jailed! (pushes you and coughs and she falls to the ground)
-Y/N: I'm gonna free her.
-Jihyo: Will you allow her to see you like a vampire? (smiles)
-Y/N: Why are you recovered?!
-Jihyo: Vampire powers (chuckles) You are strong, you'll be an amazing vampire king.
-Y/N: Not even in your best dreams.
-Jihyo: Weren't you going to save Mina?
-Y/N: How is she jailed? I thought that she was your mother's slave.
-Jihyo: Mom got awarded of the Bird thing and she jailed her until she decides what to do.
-Y/N: (sits in the bed's edge) Fuck.
-Jihyo: Don't worry, you don't need her anymore, Y/N (smiles)

Jihyo leaves and then some humans enter the room with new clothing. Their blood smells strangely delicious, very tempting. But I need to control myself, the law is clear, we can't touch other's slaves.

-Y/N: Are you humans?
-Girl: Y-Yes sir (bows)
-Girl 2: We brought your new clothes (bows) We can help you to get dressed if it's necessary.
-Y/N: No, that won't be necessary.

I give them my back to get dressed, when suddenly they two gasp. It must be because of the 034 marked in my back. I get dressed and turn around facing their surprised faces.

-Y/N: I was a slave, I was a human.
-Girl: That explains everything.
-Girl 2: How did you become a vampire? I mean, if we are allowed to ask.
-Y/N: The princess appears to have an obsession with me (sighs) I lost the only thing that belonged to me.
-Girl: Being a vampire Prince is great, it's totally a win for you (smiles) Every slave dreams about getting bought by an aristocratic vampire. But you became a royal one yourself, you should be thankful!
-Y/N: Your brain has been washed, this place belonged to humans! You aren't slave, you are just victims of an unfair conquer (breaks the desk next to the bed)
-Girl 2: We are sorry! We shouldn't had bothered you, sir (bows)
-Y/N: What's your name?!
-Girl 2: Uhm... 014 Sana.
-Y/N: And you?
-Girl: 062 Momo.
-Y/N: Remember my words, you aren't slave. You shouldn't serve anyone, the first chance you get to run away, please take it (places a hand on their shoulders) This world belongs to human, take back what is yours and kill me, please.
-Both: What?!
-Sana: We can't do that, the princess would kill us after that.
-Momo: Yeah, just enjoy your life. Not everyone has the chance you do.
-Y/N: You don't understand me, no one does! Mina is the only one... (sighs)
-Momo: Do you know Minari?!
-Y/N: Yes, yes! I do and the Bird thing too, she's the one who opened my eyes (smiles) Where is she?! Do you know it?!
-Sana: The queen took her away, we don't know what happened after that.
-Y/N: I need to save her...
-Momo: You are a vampire Prince, why would you do that?
-Y/N: Mina helped me when I arrived to Palace for the first time. She opened my eyes and gave me a reason to live for, I own it to her (smiles) Will you help me?
-Sana: I mean, we can't disobey the vampires so if it's an order (smiles)
-Y/N: Thank you!
