CHAPTER 5

Y/N'S POV

-Two weeks later-

I'm still in the process of finding Mina, the only clue I have is that she's jailed in Palace's cells. And as its obvious, there's no possible way to access there. Not to mention how incredibly possessive Jihyo is, she controls every single movement I do.

But lucky me I got to make a friendship with Momo and Sana, my now personal maids. They could be considered my slaves in formal terms, but I prefer referring to them as my friends.

-Momo: So Y/N, what do you plan to do now? (smiles)
-Y/N: I can't do anything personally, you know that.
-Sana: But you said you wouldn't abandon Mina.
-Y/N: And I won't, that's why you'll help me (smiles) Do you have any idea of where does the Bird association take place?
-Sana: Hmm... Not really, Mina mentioned it's the land where light rules. What does that even mean? (confused)
-Y/N: Land where the light rules... The energy generators? (smiles)
-Momo: Oh, good idea! How do we get there?
-Y/N: Well, that's what we need to plan now. If I'm not wrong, only vampires can access there.
-Momo: And not all of them.
-Sana: Can you access there, Y/N?
-Y/N: I'm not sure... Maybe if I ask Jihyo, but I need an excuse.
-Momo: Why would you need to access there?
-Sana: Excursion? (smiles) Jihyo is really into you, right? You can ask her how works this world.
-Y/N: Hmm yeah that could work.
-Momo: Why do you seem so unsure about it? You need to be confident! (smiles)
-Y/N: Uh its just that I know that it won't be for free (sighs)
-Sana: What do you mean?
-Y/N: She'll want me for herself or ask me for some... Phsyscal stuff.
-Momo: You mean... Se-
-Y/N: Hell no! I won't sell my virginity for a favor like that one!
-Sana: Oh Y/N, are you a virgin? (smirks)
-Y/N: (embarrassed) That's not the main topic, Sana.
-Momo: It makes no justice to your looks, you are handsome. Someone should had stolen that already (jokes)
-Y/N: I said enough of it...
-Sana: Aww, he's shy about it (keeps teasing)
-Momo: Are you waiting for Mina? (smirks)
-Y/N: I said stop! (serious) Mention anything else about it and I'll suck off every single blood drop of your body (glares at them)

They both close their moth and look at me in shock. Am I being too rude? The vampires temperature is this explosive, I can barely control it. I bow to them and ask for forgiveness.

-Sana: That was scary...
-Momo: Yeah, I'm cold sweating now (chuckles) Your eyes are starting to look similar to Jihyo's.
-Sana: (nods in agreement)
-Y/N: I'm sorry, I can't control the impulses. You know that I would never attack you, right?
-Both:...
-Y/N: C'mon! You need to trust me, I'm your owner now.
-Sana: That's exactly why we can't trust you at all.
-Momo: And if you attack us, it's not as if we could run away or something. We are supposed to give you our blood sooner or later.
-Sana: (nods) After all, you bought us for yourself.
-Y/N: I won't... I really don't want to do that to you, girls. You are the only friends I have.

They smile sweetly at me and then exit my room. I follow them but take another way towards the throne room. The king and the queen along the Princess, Jihyo herself, are sitting while receiving the citizens.

Do I really need to ask her for a favor? She never gives me anything for free, but she always ask for impossible stuff. I take a deep breath and sneak towards the smaller throne where she's sitting. She seems to notice my presence as she smirks.

-Jihyo: You know that I'm busy, Y/N (smiles) I still have an hour to go.
-Y/N: I know and I'm sorry to disturb you. But, do you think that we could talk later?
-Jihyo: Of course, you know that I always try to make time for you.
-Y/N: Okay, then I'll see you in an hour.
-Jihyo: (nods and smiles)

I sneak out the throne room and leave the palace. On the exit, a kid bumps against my leg and falls on his butt. I get him up before he starts crying, and then another vampire comes to pick him up.

-Y/N: Here your son (smiles)
-Vampire: Huh? This is a simple and troublesome mod. Can't you see he's a human? (grabs him with a hand) Tch, I need to bring him with the rest of the group.
-Y/N: You should be kind with little kids.
-Vampire: Who are you to tell me how to do my job?
-Y/N: Just a random vampire who appreciates life, I guess.
-Vampire: (rolls his eyes) Appreciate yours and don't get in my business, stupid.

Guess not all vampires have the same vision as Jihyo does. She said there's a balance between humans and vampires, but it's obviously unfair sometimes. As the Princess, that's something she needs to work in.

I keep on walking around when suddenly I bump into a familiar girl. She looks up at me and then I realise that she's the girl who brought me from the sewage system. Dahyun.

-Dahyun: Y/N... Sorry, I wasn't looking where was I walking (smiles)
-Y/N: It's okay, vampire can't get hurted by that (chuckles)
-Dahyun: (nods) By the way, you seem very recovered. I'm sure that you just needed some blood, right?
-Y/N: Uh yeah, that was all my body was missing (smiles) I'm totally okay now.
-Dahyun: (checks you out) You are very unique. Totally like the perfect vampire would look like.
-Y/N: I'll guess you are calling me handsome (jokes)
-Dahyun: Yeah, that. Handsome (smiles) You got such sharp fangs too, do you have any weak spot? (jokes)
-Y/N: (laughs) Well-
-Jihyo: (appears) Yeah, that weak spot has my name written on it. Y/N is mine.
