CHAPTER 8

Y/N'S POV

Jihyo guides me through a secret tunnel that guides us to an elevator. She uses her hand to access and the door open almost instantly. If the Bird association is hidden here, they must have some kind of important vampire in here.

-Jihyo: We are going down, even more I mean (chuckles)
-Y/N: (nods) I'm excited.

The door opens again and we start walking through a corridor that is very well lightened up. I like the clarity in here, however Jihyo seems kinda uncomfortable.

-Y/N: Are you okay?
-Jihyo: The light kinda bothers my eyes... I prefer it dark.
-Y/N: (covers her eyes with your hand) Better?
-Jihyo: (smiles) I'm always better when you put a hand on me, Y/N.
-Y/N: (shy retires the hand)
-Jihyo: (laughs) You are a cutie. Let's keep on going, I'll get used to the light eventually.

We keep on walking and suddenly we reach a huge room with a lot of light and some squares. Where does this light come from?

-Y/N: What's this place? (amazed)
-Jihyo: These are the generators Y/N, they are called solar panels.
-Y/N: Oh... (tries to approach them)
-Jihyo: (pulls you back) You can't do that! It's very dangerous to expose yourself to this light.
-Y/N: Why?
-Jihyo: Vampires turn into ashes if it touches us. We have to be very careful, only humans can he exposed.
-Y/N: Wow... I had no idea that our energy generators would be this dangerous (smiles) So, where does all this light come from?
-Jihyo: Up there (signals to the roof) There's a whole that humans did where we let that light enter. And we close it when it rains.
-Y/N: Ah... So it rains up there too.
-Jihyo: Actually everything that happens in our world is artificial.
-Y/N: What do you mean?
-Jihyo: We created it for humans cause they need that change of seasons and weather stuff. But here there's not such thing as sun and rain or clouds. Everything comes from up there.
-Y/N: What's up there? (smiles)
-Jihyo: You don't need to know, you can't even access there. No one can, it's dangerous. We would die.
-Y/N: And at nights?
-Jihyo: It's forbidden, plus at that time we have dinner. We can't skip meals just because you are curious about what's out there.
-Y/N: It's so pretty, this light is much better than the one used for our city (smiles)
-Jihyo: Do you really like it that much? It's very bothersome and it can kill you.
-Y/N: It makes me feel some kind of way, it's very exciting. I really want to know what's up there, Jihyo (chuckles) Maybe one night we could sneak.
-Jihyo: No. That's impossible, actually you shouldn't had seen this and still I brought you (sighs) Keep it secret from everyone, okay Y/N?
-Y/N: (nods)
-Jihyo: Can I trust you?
-Y/N: Yeah, I won't tell anyone.
-Jihyo: Good (hugs you)

I won't tell anyone for the moment, cause the Bird association isn't here. But maybe it's up there. It would actually be perfect since vampire can't access.

I definitely need a talk with Momo and Sana, they'll be surprised about what I found out. If we find Mina and a way to bring them up there, they'll be almost free. That's our final goal, now I know what's my purpose.

-Jihyo: Y/N (looks into your eyes)
-Y/N: Hmm?
-Jihyo: I... I want to kiss you (smiles shyly)
-Y/N: (lower yourself a bit and closes your eyes) Go ahead, princess.
-Jihyo: (kisses you) I love you, you know?

I know and its fake, you are just obsessed with me. How can I get rid of her without hurting her? Jihyo deserves someone to love her the way she loves me. I'm not the one supposed for her, cause I'm a vampire with a human heart.

-Jihyo: Let's return back home? It's almost noon, we need to eat something (chuckles and holds your hand) And in the afternoon, we can have that date.
-Y/N: Aren't you busy? You don't have any meeting?
-Jihyo: Nope, I booked the whole day for you (smiles) I'm really excited today cause I'm with the boy I like.
-Y/N: (smiles) Let's have a date after having lunch, then.

We return back to palace and call the girls to drink some of their blood, of course after our thanking ritual. Jihyo seems to have calmed down a little bit since she doesn't object when I tell her to treat humans fairly.

I know that she's not a bad girl, she's just stubborn and convinced that what she is doing is what it should be done. However, as the future queen she is, she should consider more opinions.

-Jihyo: I need to prepare myself for the date, let's meet in around two hours, okay?
-Y/N: Why?
-Jihyo: I need to bath and choose the right outfit. Then get the make up done alone my hair style. Y/N, it's a date, I must look perfect for you (chuckles)
-Y/N: I never had a date, never thought I would have one actually.
-Jihyo: Humans are created by taking male humans seed into female ovaries in our labs. That's why humans doesn't need to have dates, everything is artificial.
-Y/N: Then I'll never know who are my parents, right? Since I appear to lack of them since the beginning, I'm a lab son (looks down)
-Jihyo: (holds your face between her hands) You are the most perfect creation ever made, Y/N. You don't need parents cause you are now my family (smiles) My parents are your parents, and everything else you need. Okay?
-Y/N: Jihyo...
-Jihyo: (pecks your lips) Let's have fun today. As vampires, we have dates cause we really reproduce by the ancient way. You know, right?
-Y/N: (nods) Sex.
-Jihyo: (shy) Y/N do you think we'll reach that level of love one day?
-Y/N: (blushes) I don't know, how am I supposed to know that?!
-Jihyo: (chuckles) See you in a while, sweetie (leaves to her room)
