37- time travelling:

"Are you SURE this is a good idea? What if we see each other completely different?" My hand rested under her chin as I caressed y/n's face with my thumb.

"Baby, I promise ya that I won't see you any different to how I see ya now. You're ma everything an' no matter what happens over there, I'll be with you again here." My eyes watered, I began to rethink my decision. Was it a good idea to travel into an alternate universe to see how our lives would be if we never met and got together?

"One hour, right?" I nodded slowly, smiling to reassure her it was going to be okay. We interlaced our fingers and sat up straight so our backs pressed against the headboard of our bed. I reached over to grab two small red pills with my free hand, they were only effective for an hour, we could come back to the present.

"One hour, that's it." We stared at each other as we placed the pills into our mouth at the same time, I leaned over to kiss y/n's forehead.

"I love you." The world around us began to spin, sending up spiralling into the one place I was afraid to go. A world without the love of my life.

I woke up in soft sheets, a fresh smell of cotton and lavender drifted through the room, my eyes adjusted to the light shining through the net curtains. I sat up and stretched, standing up and heading downstairs.
I wasn't familiar with the house, but I found my way to the kitchen from the smell of pancakes and the soft sound of alternative songs from the noughties ( 2000's) .
My palms started to sweat, I was scared who was going to be standing there, knowing for a fact it wasn't going to be Dominic. I plucked up the courage to walk into the room. My eyes widened.

"R-Rook?" The tatted lad turned around, smiling. His black sweats hung loosely on his hips, shirtless torso showing his few tattoos.

"Morning, sleepyhead. How did you sleep?" I yawned, shrugging. I sat down at the bar, watching him cook.

"I don't know, I can't remember falling asleep if I'm honest." He chuckled, handing me a plate of pancakes. I thanked him and ate silently, bobbing my head to the song playing in the background. He sat beside me and kissed my forehead, eating his own food.

"Where's Dominic?" Rook gave me a confused look. Oh shit, I'm not supposed to know him.

"Yungblud? Him and Colson are in the studio recording again... How do you know Dom?" I swallowed and shrugged.

"Uh- I'm sure I've seen him on your instagram before." He nodded, looking out the window. I didn't actually look where I was. I took a quick glance out the window, in absolute awe with the view. We were at the top of LA, the place I've always wanted to live.

"Do you remember when we moved in here? You were so excited to get unpacked and spend the rest of our lives together in our dream house." I couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah, I was so happy... all my life, I've wanted to have a house up in LA, looking over everyone below. And I've finally got it." Rook leaned in for a kiss. Is this cheating? It's an alternate universe, it can't be... I pecked his lips, giggling.

"Are you ready for today? I have a show later with Kells." I squealed excitedly.

"Fuck yeah!" Rook chuckled and cuddled into me, sighing happily.

I could get used to this... is that bad to say?

= Dom =

"Wake up, Dom! It's scan day!" My eyes shot open, trying to identify the new voice. I stretched, rubbing my eyes. There was someone sitting at the end of the bed, a big smile on their face. I squinted.

No fucking way...

"Megan?" I shook my head, trying to process that Megan Fox was sitting at the end of the bed, a baby bump resting beneath her hands.
Holy shit, I got Megan Fox pregnant... with my baby...

cool.

"Yes! Now get up and get dressed, we find out the gender of our little life-changer." I ruffled my hair, getting up and pulling black jeans and a hoodie on. Megan's hair was straightened and makeup was done.

"You look good t'day." She blushed, thanking me. Could I say that? I don't know y/n in this world, I'm sure it's okay...

"How long until the scan? I want a smoke." She shook her head, grabbing my hand.

"We need to go now, it's in ten minutes." I blinked hard, following her downstairs and out of our apartment. We live in south London by the looks of it. Not my ideal place to be, but that's okay. Megan drove us to hospital, since I couldn't drive.

"C'mon." She grabbed my hand and lead me inside the hospital, we didn't even need to sit down, a nurse called our names and lead us to the ultrasound room. Megan laid down and lifted her shirt, exposing her bump. The doctor sitting at the computer applied cool gel all over her stomach, pressing the scanner on her skin and moving it around.

"If you look on this screen, you should see your little baby." I looked up, mouth gaping open.

That's my baby...

"Oh wow... do you know what we're having?" The doctor continued to look at the little life on the screen, getting a nurse to run a few tests.

"She won't be long getting the results. What are you hoping for?" Megan looked at me, smiling.

"I want a lil' girl, but as long as the baby's healthy, that's all I care 'bout."

"I'm hoping for a boy." The nurse returned after a couple minutes, handing the doctor a file. He opened it and read through the text, smiling.

"You'll be pleased to know, Miss Fox and Mr Harrison... that you're having a beautiful baby girl." My eyes watered.

"Oh wow!" I sniffed, kissing Megan's hand.

I can't wait to have a baby, but I want one with y/n... she's my present-time girlfriend...

= present time, 3rd person POV=

Y/n slowly opened her eyes, looking over to see if Dominic was awake, and he was. She smiled softly and cuddled into his side.

"Are we going to share who we were with and what we were doing?" Dominic whispered, y/n shrugged.

"If you want.. how was your world without me, Dommie?" He took a deep breath.

"Honestly, it wasn't half bad... but it wasn't you. I was with Megan, and she was 'aving a baby girl... my baby girl. I was gonna 'ave a kid with Megan Fox." Y/n giggled.

"That's so adorable! Just don't tell Colson." They both laughed.

"How was ya life without me?" Y/n cleared her throat, feeling slightly flustered.

"I- I was with Rook... we lived in LA, exactly where I've always wanted to live, he was making pancakes and listening to ageing alt songs. He told me you and Kells were in the studio together, and he had a concert tonight... I woke up in the softest bedsheets, too... It was like heaven." Dom's eyes saddened.

"Now comes the hard decision... the blue pill can let ya live in that life forever... if only one of us chooses to go back to the alternate life, the other remains 'ere alone... what's it gonna be? Say it at the same time, yeah?" Y/n nodded, gripping onto Dom's hand tighter.

"I wanna stay here with you-."
"I wanna live back with Rook-."
