(there are a couple TWs... I'm sorry... see for yourself, also Dom is 31 in this.)

By the time I was your age, I'd give anything to fall in love truly, was all I could think...

"Hey, dad?" I looked up from my phone and over at my 15 year old son, Jace. I nodded, turning my body to face him completely. He cleared his throat and sat up straight in the seat beside me on the sofa, fiddling with his fingers in his lap. I sat cross-legged, waiting for him to ask me whatever he wanted to. He cleared his throat, taking a deep breath.

"What's up, Jacey mate? Is it a question or...?" I trailed my sentence hoping for his reply. He shrugged his shoulders, looking away from me. I grabbed his shoulder comfortingly.

"Ask me, son. What's wrong? Is it school or someone bein' an asshole?" He shook his head, turning back to look at me, his dark blue eyes were saddened, a noticeable pout on his lips. I hate when he's upset and doesn't tell me, he does some stupid things when it gets bad.

"I just... wanted to know what mum was like... since I never met her after she left..." I stiffened at the mention of you 'leaving'. I've never told Jace about you, I never thought he'd ask, only because when you both met, he was unaware of it. It's been 15 years, he needs to know. I bit my lips and nodded, standing up. It's about time he knew about you.

"Follow me." Jace was hot on my trail, following me upstairs and into our- my bedroom. I hopped up on the bed, reaching to grab a box on top of the wardrobe. I sat back down and placed the box in my lap, taking picture frames and papers out of it. Jace's eyes lit up, seeing a picture of me and you when we first met. My arms were around you as we laughed about some stories we shared together.

"T-that's mum? Wow, she's so beautiful." I smiled, nodding. Jace held the frame in his hands, looking up at me with big doe eyes. He couldn't stop staring at you, I wish you'd come back and meet him. He's such a perfect soul, like you.

"Dad, what the fook was your hair back then?" He laughed, I gasped dramatically at him, slapping a hand over my heart. He seemed mesmerized by you. I don't blame him, it's the exact same way I looked at you.

"Now, son. I'm only telling you this because life can do terrible things. Me and your mother met a little over fifteen years ago, when I was around your age. We were only young at the time, but I remember this like it was yesterday. It was summer break, and I was hanging out at the park in my hometown with my best friends at the time."

flashback 1:

"Dominic! Are ya coming out to the parkour blocks later?" I shook my head at my best friend, Adam. He rolled his eyes playfully, nudging me with his elbow. He and my other mates keep teasing me over this one girl I fancy the pants off of.

"Ya still stalkin' that girl, y/n? Dude, you're punching WAY above your weight. She's gorgeous."

"I know... but I feel like we need to be together... It's crazy." Adam and a few others burst out laughing at me, making me sigh quietly. I looked up and saw you approaching us, clamping your notebook between your teeth to tighten your ponytail, slotting the pen behind your ear. I felt heat rising on my body. 'Please walk by, please walk by, please walk by!' You didn't walk by, you stood directly in front of me, a small smile on your face. I looked over at Adam, he shrugged and winked, mouthing 'get it, Dom!' All you said was;
