Illusion Steve's POV 6w6
"Y'know, Elan has changed quite a bit since the last time I saw him. He's definitely grown a lot too." I said, starting a conversation. I still think it's funny how when I came here, we were already fighting over something like we used to. I remember I always had to chase him around the castle just to get him to lay down. Getting him to sleep was a whole different story. He was a really stubborn kid back then. And he still is! I will say that sometimes it was definitely a pain to deal with him, but other times it was kind of fun. Racing around the castle and such.
"Huh- seems you've known him for quite a while. What are some things that you remember when you were still with him?" Rainbow Steve asked, taking a small glance at the finally sleeping kid on the couch. Yes to me he is still a kid and nothing can change my mind. "Hmm.... lets see here.. there was a time where he forced me into racing him around the border wall.. what else... oh! The time where he bolted into my room yelling 'SUPERMAN AT YOUR SERVICE! WHAT DO YOU NEED KIND SIR??' at the MIDDLE OF THE DARN NIGHT and pretty much woke up everyone in the castle.. um..." I said laughing at the memories that came rushing into mind.
While I was trying to think of other things that had happened in the past with Elan and I, I heard Galaxy and Rainbow Steve burst out laughing from I'm guessing the last one I said. "Oh yeah- there were times when the king and queen would be trying to have a meeting with another neighboring kingdom and Elan would pretty much break the doors down and he would be wearing something like the queens bra and yell 'HEY! WHAT ARE Y'ALL DOING IN HERE?? YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!' and he would point at everyone in the room including his parents and tried to push them out of there until I came and snatched him up and ran to another room on the other side of the castle to distract him." I said while Rainbow Steve and Galaxy Steve were on the ground dying of laughter.
"Y-your not making these up- are you?" Galaxy Steve asked, not able to form words from laughing so hard. "Nope. Not a single part of it is made up." I replied proudly, and they continued laughing. I'm pretty sure back when Elan was little, I was always his favorite guard to mess around with because I always gave a reaction and played with him. It's funny knowing how easy it is to manipulate a child.. he didn't exactly even know who I was back then. All he knew was that I was a guard that was always with him and that he wanted to play. That was it, and then he claimed me as his buddy. Whether that be a good thing or not, not gonna lie it was still kind of cute.
Just kind of. I looked over at Elan to see if he was still asleep, and sure enough. He is. Which is interesting because I remember when he was younger, he was a light sleeper. It's really loud in this room and he's still asleep. Now does that concern me? No not really. Should it? Nah, not yet. Not unless we try to wake him up and he doesn't. That would be a problem. "And just so you know- there's more stories than that from when he was younger. Some are sad and some are absolutely hilarious." I said once they were done laughing.
"How many stories do you have of him??" Galaxy Steve asked, still getting over from laughing so much. "Oh trust me, I've got a lot. But those are for another time." I said, still having memories flash through my mind. I almost wonder... was it the scientists that made him a dragon or was he always a dragon? Because I don't think it's a coincidence that he's a shadow dragon when we lived in the Shadow Kingdom. It wouldn't make any sense that those people just thought 'Oh! SiNcE tHiS gUy LiVeS iN tHe ShAdOw KiNgDoM.. lEt'S mAkE hIm A sHaDoW dRaGoN!' Yeah no.
There's probably not even a 10% chance of that happening unless those scientists are more idiots than I thought. And that's saying something. So- Elan's dragon form isn't even what the scientists made him into.. I wonder what that form is. His memories might have been wiped and they're just slowly coming back. Eh- for all I know, Elan could know exactly what form the scientists made him into and he's just lying about what he knows and what he doesn't.
"So now what? Elan's somehow asleep on the couch sitting up.. what should we do?" I asked. I'm getting kind of bored. It seems as though either Rainbow Steve or Galaxy Steve starts the fun, but Elan keeps it going. Which is a pretty good trait to have but it also depends on how you use it. "Wanna go fishing for pufferfish??" Galaxy Steve asked very loudly. "Shhhh.... and sure, I'll go fishing." I said, shushing him so he doesn't wake up a sleeping bean. "How is Sabre sleeping SITTING UP on the couch??" Rainbow Steve asked somewhat quietly.
"No idea but let's just let him be and go outside." I replied. Galaxy Steve bolted outside once he got the fishing rods for us. "WEEEEEEEEE~" He yelled once he was outside. "What does he not get by 'stay quiet??' Like seriously though. How hard is it?" I asked after he finished screaming. "Well- that's Galaxy Steve for ya." Rainbow Steve said, looking out the door at him. Galaxy was already at the pond waiting for us when we walked out the door with the rods in hand. "You guys are slow- what took you so long?? I was waiting here for AGES I tell you! AGES!" He exclaimed once we got there.
"And why are you so loud?? Did you not here me say 'be quiet, Elan's sleeping on the couch.' Are you deaf or something?" I asked as we sat down and threw the line out in the water. "Oops- eh, oh well! Done and over with now!" Galaxy Steve replied. After he said that that, I watched as he just death stared the pond.
