Sabre's POV
We finally made the decision that since I can't change back into my 'human' form, that I would just try my best to avoid any contact with the sun. I've already been burned and I don't feel like getting even more burned. Me and the sun are going to be fighting all day today. I'm already dreading it and the day hasn't even completely started. "BREAKFAST IS READY!" Rainbow Steve shouted from downstairs. "You sure your going to be able to make it downstairs without touching any of the sunlight on the way?" Illusion Steve asked a bit protectively.
"I'm sure, I could just speed run it down there." I replied, getting ready to run all the way down there. "Ok.. I guess we'll meet ya down there? Oh! Shadow go invisible before we go." He pointed out. "Oh yeah- thanks Illusion." I said just before running across the hall and down stairs. "No problem." He replied. As soon as I started running, for some reason I picked up speed and was down stairs in less than 3 seconds. Although as soon as I got down there, I stopped right in the sun. I didn't realize it for a second until it actually started burning my foot. "Ow!" I yelped, jumping away from the spot, as well as just standing on the foot that didn't get burned. "I swear- me and the sun are going to have a fight today." I exclaimed while glaring out the kitchen window.
"Do I even wanna know what your talking about?" Rainbow Steve asked, looking at me a little oddly. "Eh- I mean.. it probably would benefit but I don't think you really want to know." I answered truthfully. "Alright, well now I do want to know! So tell me, why are you all burned up when there is no fire here?" Rainbow Steve asked while looking at the burns in my arms and legs/foot. "Aha- I knew that question was gonna pop up somewhere during breakfast." I replied quickly. "Are you going to come sit down or what?" Galaxy Steve sassed.
"Uh.. yep." I answered, not sure if I wanted to risk the sun moving in the slightest bit. A second later, Illusion and Shadow came walking down the stairs. "How did you get down here so fast?? It was like you just teleported down here or something! Also- why are you standing on one leg?" Illusion questioned. "I um- may or may not have ran all the way down here only to stop in a sunlit spot on the floor and burned my foot. ':D" I answered slowly. "You idiot- the whole point of you running was that you avoid the sun. Not stop dead in your tracks right in it." Illusion said while walking over to help me stand up straight.
"Thanks..- TwT" I said. Illusion nodded his head and helped me get over to a seat at the table where the sun wouldn't be hitting me. "Soo... are you gonna explain what's going on now? Cause that would be deeply appreciated." Rainbow Steve asked a bit impatiently. "I don't feel like explaining it- Illusion, could you do it please?" I asked as he helped me get to the table. "Sure thing." He replied. Moments later he finished explaining everything starting with Shadow and ending with the vampire problem and how I had different DNA's forced into my own and yada yada. You know the drill already.
While Illusion was explaining, Shadow figured it would be good to actually show himself to them. Which I'm glad for seeing as though I'm bout done trying to keep him a secret. In all honesty- I wasn't even trying to hide him from the others. Whenever he appeared, we had normal conversations as if he were visible to the others even though he wasn't. Dang- I'm just now realizing how crazy I must have looked whenever I was talking to him. "Ok- so what are we going to do? Sabre can't turn back to his original form and the sun will burn him when in contact with his skin. Not to mention that we have no idea when Dark Steve or Nightmare Steve are going to attack this place." Rainbow Steve questioned.
"Oh, nice to know you guys are thinking about me~ too bad Nightmare Steve isn't here to see how pathetic you look Sabre. Your so weak and vulnerable.. I could just end you here and now!" Dark Steve taunted, walking up next to me. Rainbow Steve jinxed it- I swear. As soon as Dark Steve came near me, the tension in the room became really thick really fast. I took a reassuring glance around at everyone except for Shadow seeing that he was completely calm. He knew what I could do. But the others didn't and I would like to keep it that way until that is needed. "I've got a question for ya Dark Steve." I started saying calmly. I think this triggered him but he tried not to show.
