Chapter 13- "Night Walk"

A/n- Again, in case you didn't see in the last chapter, I am giving full credits to IDrawzStuff for a few of the next scenes and/or chapters. Oh! You may see some cuddly cute moments of Sabre and someone else, they aren't a ship- although I'm not stopping you from shipping it yourself. There are no ships in this book (unless wanted). Alright- I'll let ya read the chapter now

Sabre's POV

*sigh* The last couple of days have been really painful. I can't remember the last time I was sick. My head hurts and I can't do anything to help it. I can't have any soup or anything to help me get better since that would probably only make me worse and even more sick. Which is not something I want. The piece of coal has come several times to check up on me. Isn't he supposed to be evil? And yet here he is, having sympathy for me. I wonder how Beemare would feel about that? Eh- I could care less since coal is here right now, I can have cuddles! >:3

he shall not get away from me grasppp~ although when he does leave, I just call one of the others to give me cuddles. "We may be mortal enemies, but I will make an exception for this time. You're so cuddly when your like this! And- not so.. sassy." Dark Steve exclaimed. "Good, because I'm not letting you go, and I'm not sassy! >:[" I said, burying my head more into his chest. "Do you not remember when we first met? I asked for your name and you literally just said 'NOPE-' and made me go back to the lair." He replied, looking down at me. "Well, to be fair.. you just popped up out of nowhere and I was still super new to this world, so I didn't know what to do." I defended.

"At the time, I had come to mess around with Rainbow Steve and Galaxy Steve but then I saw you-" Dark Steve started saying. "And decided to mess with me until I shot that idea down with my so called 'sassiness.' There's not much you could say to defend yourself on that, you and I both know that." I finished before he could say anything else. "Oh so you accept the fact that your sassy?" Dark Steve teased. Before I could say anything else, Rainbow Steve walked into the room. "Hey Sabre! We're going on a night walk later, do you want to come with us?" He asked sounding excited.

"Ooo! Sure! It would be nice to be able to get some fresh air without burning!" I exclaimed casually. Probably to casually for their comfort. "Yeah- we really need to figure that situation out." Rainbow Steve said a bit disappointed. "Meh- for the time being, I get cuddles and affection until I'm well enough to go back to my original form!" I said happily, adjusting myself a bit to get more comfortable. "Alright! Well- y'all get back to y'all's cuddles I guess, and I'll call you when we're leaving to go on the walk." He said, walking out the door again.

"Mkay." I answered quietly so I didn't make the migraine I already have worse. Not even a minute later, I find myself snuggled up into Dark's chest falling asleep.

Dark Steve's POV

Ok- how could someone so sassy and defensive be this smol and cuddly? I mean seriously- when I first met him, he quite literally just told me to 'go away' and now look at where we are. He's sick, cuddled up into my chest sleeping. I honestly never thought I'd live to see a day like this. I'm supposed to be out destroying buildings and things but naw- the sick smol bean is comfortably sleeping on me. I also would have thought that Rainbow Steve would have destroyed me by now but he hasn't yet surprisingly.

Didn't they say that they were going to go on a night walk? It's almost nighttime.. eh- it'll probably still be a while before they leave. I need to get Sabre to talk more about himself so I can report that information back to Nightmare Steve, or as Sabre calls him; Beemare. I still work with The Darkness and the so called 'evil,' I'm just simply.. having cuddle time with my enemy. That's normal, right? Da- I MEAN- Nightmare Steve.. hopefully won't mind... maybe? I might as well take a small nap as well- I can tell that I'm not going to be getting up for a while.

I've been awake with Sabre for a few minutes just before Rainbow Steve walked back into the room. Probably to get him so they can go on their walk they said they would do. "Alright Sabre! You ready?" Rainbow Steve asked enthusiastically. "Mmm... yeah-" He replied a bit tiredly. "Okay c'mon!" Rainbow exclaimed while running out the room and back downstairs. "Mkay..!" He said, still pretty tired. "Alright- ima go now.. okay? I probably won't come back tomorrow due to Nightmare Steve and all. I'll see ya whenever I can!" I told him.

"Mhm.. ok.." He said, still tired from the nap.

Sabre's POV

Dark Steve left to go back to his and Beemare's lair. Now I don't have a cuddle buddy.. :< meh- we're going on a walk anyways. I got up, put my shoes and hoodie back on and went downstairs to find everyone on the couch. Probably waiting for me. I looked out the window and found that it was indeed nighttime now. "You ready to go now?" Rainbow Steve asked. "Yep!" I exclaimed, less tired now. "RACE Y'ALL OUTSIDE!" Galaxy Steve yelled, running towards the door and outside. "HEY! YOU GOT A HEAD-START!" Rainbow Steve shouted, running after him.

"Why do they have to yell...?" I asked. "Aye- you're the one who dealt with them for however long y'all have been friends." Illusion stated. "Well- yes, that is true, but them yelling isn't helping my headache." I half admitted. "Oh! I thought you were just talking about them yelling in general! Cause they seem to do that quite often." Illusion Steve said, realizing his mistake. "Oh- no that isn't what I was talking about, but I will admit that they do tend to scream and yell a lot." I agreed. The conversation ended short as we met back up with Rainbow Steve and Galaxy Steve.

"You guys are slow!" Galaxy Steve exclaimed. "Well sorry that you guys wanted to race while I'm sick and have a splitting headache." I snapped back. "Oh.. so project 010 is sick? What a shame.."

-hello, sorry it's kinda short- I just wanted to get this chapter out and here it is! Now to suffer with the start of the next one..
