Sabre's POV

Thank god.. I'm not hungry anymore. I feel bad for that sheep, it was just living it's life and I came along being hungry and just straight up ate it. "I feel disturbed by my own actions..." I said, looking towards the side of the house. "Why? You did what you had to do now let's move on and forget that even happened. Until you get hungry again. Then we'll have to risk pretty much everyone to get you blood. So you don't get out of control." Shadow replied, technically telling the truth. "But- the sheep...-" I said in a whiny kind of voice.

"Aye- it's not my fault you had vampire DNA put into your blood! Wait- speaking of that, what other DNA was put in you?" Shadow asked curiously. "I have no absolute idea and nor do I really want to know." I replied quickly as if someone were going to interrupt me. "Well why don't you wanna know?? You don't want something to happen with the different forms you have and not know what's happening, during an attack right?" Shadow asked, using logic against me. "I mean- I guess you are right but it's still night time and I don't plan on being out here the whole night, trying to activate the different forms that the scientists gave me and the powers they have." I replied while looking over at the front door of the house.

I could have sworn I saw something but as soon as I looked back over there, it disappeared. I shrugged it off and looked back over to Shadow and continued the conversation. "I mean- ok fine. I guess you are right but we will come back out here later and figure this out. Alright? Alright. Let's go inside now." Shadow said, not letting me have a choice in what we're doing. "Fine then- but I'm tired and I'm going to go to sleep. Whether you sleep too or not is not my problem." I said while walking back to the house. "Alright fine, whatever. After breakfast is when we will come out here to do this. It would probably be best if we went in the forest just in case someone sees you." Shadow replied being a bit passive aggressive.

"We'll figure this out in the morning. I am tired and need some sleep now goodnight and you do whatever you want I don't really care at this point." I said, sounding half asleep. We walked into the house and I went up to my room without another word coming out of either of our mouth's. When I got up into my room, I could've sworn I heard the front door open and shut, but that could've been Shadow just tryna figure himself out. So I didn't think much of it. Once I got comfortable in my bed, almost instantly I fell into the darkness of sleep.

~Time Skip~

Alright- it's morning now and I am dreading getting up. I'm too tired, and my body hurts. It feels like it's burning, I don't know how else to explain it! Immediately my first instinct was to go and stand in the shadow of the corner. Although what I didn't expect was to teleport? Did I even teleport? I don't know. "SHADOW!" I yelled loud enough for anybody downstairs to hear. Not even a second later Shadow appeared in front of me. "What is the matter? Why are you standing in the corner like that?" Shadow questioned. "Do you not see the sunlight coming through the window and the burns on my arms from it? Are you blind?" I asked, gesturing towards the window and my arm.

A second after I said that, Rainbow Steve and Galaxy Steve came bursting into my room. As well as Illusion Steve just teleporting in. "Sabre! Are you alright?? Why are you huddled into the corner like that?" Rainbow Steve asked frantically. "They can't see you can they?" I whispered over to Shadow. He shook his head implying that he was indeed invisible. "And why do you have burns on your arms and face?? There's not a fire in here, is there?" Illusion Steve added while looking around for any signs of there being a fire in the room.

"I'm fine, but Illusion Steve, can I talk to you? Please? Alone? Yeah? Ok, you don't get a choice, Rainbow Steve, Galaxy Steve, could y'all step out for a moment? Thanks." I said quickly, somewhat shoving Rainbow and Galaxy out the door. "Uh- okay?" Illusion Steve stuttered, not knowing what was going on. "Ok- now that they're out, Shadow reveal yourself and close the curtains, please! I don't feel like being cornered by the sun." I demanded, coming off a bit bossy. Shadow did exactly as I said while Illusion Steve just stood there seeming extremely confused to what was going on.

Once Shadow closed the curtains, I carefully stepped out of the corner and now standing in front of Illusion Steve. "So.... Mind explaining what's going on now? No need to explain who Shadow is since I have one like him as well. Props from being part of the Shadow Kingdom." Illusion asked. "Oh thank god. We have bigger problems. So- ya know how I was taken from this world and experimented on, as well as having a dragon form and yada yada?" I started off asking.

"Yeah? What about it?" He asked, sounding more confused than he was before. "Ok good. So- it turns out that, the scientists didn't give that dragon form and just more r' so just activated it. They actually gave me the DNA of different types of.... I don't even know what to call it, but you get the idea. One of those things sadly being a vampire." I bluntly told him. He didn't seem surprised when I told him what was really going on with the dragon form. What seemed to actually catch him off guard was the vampire part.

He looked over at Shadow for approval of my short summary and he nodded his head in agreement. "And I'm guessing you have figured out by now what happened to make us figure that out." Shadow added. "You didn't bite anyone did you?" Illusion asked with slight concern in his voice. "Oh! Nonono- I went after a sheep. That poor sheep though.." I said, remembering what I had to do to it last night. In case you don't know, I had to brutally murder it with only my hands and mouth being that I now have fangs. "Oh that poor little thing..." Illusion Steve said, while looking somewhat out the window.

"Yeah yeah yeah.. but that's not the point. You see- Sabre doesn't know how to get out of this form and he can't necessarily go anywhere because of the sun. You can already see what that does to him. Imagine if he got exposed to it more?" Shadow said, getting back in topic. "Awww~ you care about me!" I teased. "Do you want to burn to smithereens? Cause I'd be happy to let ya do so." He said with a smile on his face. "Oh, so your committing suicide now?" I asked. (I am SO sorry for that part right there. Please don't take this offensively) He stood silent there for a moment, processing what I just said.

"Alright fine. You win. But can we get back to the task at hand? You are going to BURN if we don't figure this out." Shadow said, giving up. Sunlight came through a crack in the curtains and touched my foot. As soon as it did that, I yelped, jumped up, grabbed one of the bars and pulled myself up to avoid any other contact with the sun. "Should I even ask why the was your natural instinct?" Illusion Steve asked, looking up at me disappointingly. "Nope, you don't wanna know." I replied cheerfully. Probably a bit too cheerfully but ya know- whatever.

"In all honesty, I'm not even that surprised. One question though, is staying on topic just not an option anymore?" Shadow asked, sounding disappointed as well. "Sabre- just think about not being a vampire, but just a normal human hybrid." Illusion Steve weirdly instructed. I nodded my head and did as he said. Still nothing. "Nothing changed at all." I said, feeling around my mouth for the fangs, only to feel that they're still there. "Huh- did you drink enough blood when you needed it last night?" Shadow asked.

"I mean- when I finished, I was still a bit hungry but I wasn't a threat to anyone anymore so I thought I was alright." I replied truthfully. "Also- something weird happened before I called for Shadow a few minutes ago. When I woke up, of course, I was burning and yeah yeah whatever. I went to get up and go to the corner over there, all of that happened so fast it felt like I teleported. Although I don't think vampire's have the ability to teleport." I added. The both of them stayed silent for a moment. Probably thinking about what I just said.

"Since you were just injected with the DNA of a vampire and most likely several other things.. you probably got only a few powers from it. What those powers may be? No idea" Shadow said. Ima get down off of this bar thing that I put into the house for structure so we can have a normal conversation. When I jumped down, Illusion and Shadow stepped back a bit so I could have some room. "I guess that is true, but Shadow- you wanted to practice powers and see what exactly I am. How are we supposed to do that if I can't be in the sunlight?" I asked, making a point.

"No idea but we will figure it out!"
