Ash POV
"Just drop us down there." Our ride Pokemon nodded and flew us down to Professor Kukui's Home. "Thank you."

I walked up to the house and knocked a few times on the door. It was late at night so I was surprised to see that Professor Kukui answered the door so quickly.

"Ash? It's good to see you again."

"It's good to see you too. How's everyone?"

"Everyone is alright, except Lei I'm afraid." There was a sadness in his eyes. I've never in all my life have seen him so worried. I guess it's only a feeling a father could have.

"May I come in?"

"Of course, I should probably warn you. Brunet isn't taking it well." We led me inside and the interior looked the same. I climbed the loft and it looked just as it did when I left. He then led me to his room. When I walked in I saw Professor Brunet sitting down next to Lei who was fast asleep. She had tear stains down her face and it hurt me to see here this way. She was my mother while I lived here just as Kukui was my father.

"Hey Professor…"

"Huh? Oh Ash." She wiped her eyes and stood up and gave me a big hug.

"May I?" She pulled away and then turned back to her son.

"Of course." I took a few steps forward and then softly placed my hand on his forehead. It was too warm for it to be normal and his breathing was heavy. Something told me that he's been like this for a long time. I brought my hand down to him and through his sleep he grabbed my finger with his hand.

"Hey little brother. I know this won't actually do alot but I hope you get better." I closed my eyes and thought only about Lei. I let some of my Aura that was within me leave my body and go to him. I would do anything to see him get better. I opened my eyes and checked his head again. His temperature seemed cooler and his breathing was more stable than before.

"Ash, what did you do?" Kukui said as he placed his hand on the side of Lei's face.

"I- I don't know. I just wanted him to get better."

"It's aura Ash." I turned around and Professor Brunet had a smile on her face. "Aura is an energy that's all around us. It's almost as it's the energy of life. Thank you for helping my son."

She did a small bow and then walked over and gave Kukui a kiss.

"Professor… it's like you said I'm his brother. And there is no mountain I wouldn't climb to keep them safe." I left the room and walked outside for a deep breath.

"Why did you give some of your power away?" I looked around and saw nobody around.

"Who's there."

"You didn't answer my question Ash Ketchum." I watched as J came from around the side of the house.

"I did it for him."

"Do you have any idea what that means? Aura isn't an infinite source of power. And you just gave it away?."

"So help him I would have given it all to him."

"You are supposed to be the strongest Aura Guardian and this is what you do with your power?"

"I'm not interested in power J. I don't care to be the strongest anymore. I just want to keep my family safe."

"You are a mysterious one aren't you?" I walked up to him and looked him in the eyes.

"The same could be said for you. Who's R?"

"Riku? He's a bad person and you shouldn't talk to him."

"It's much more than that J. Tell me the full story."

"Now is not the time or the place. Now if you excuse me I have a few problems to take care of." He turned and ran back towards the city.

"Who was that guy?." I turned around and saw Kukui at the door. "I don't really know if I'm honest."

"Well it's time for dinner and you're welcome to stay if you'd like."

"Yes, thank you. I would like that very much."

Serena POV
I picked myself up and grabbed hold of the rail and took a deep breath.

"C'mon Serena you can do this." Bonnie called from the side.

"I'll try." I used all the strength I had and took a step forward. I took a deep breath and went for a second but I ended up falling on the floor.

"So close…"

"Bonnie, you say that every time."

"I know but I know that one day you'll be able to, with no problems at all." Bonnie walked over with my wheelchair and helped me up.

"Thank you."

"Of course. So where do you want to go?"

"I want to go home for a while."

"Again? You're always there."

"Please I don't want to argue." She pushed me all the way to my home where she left me to go do her own thing.

"Mom, I'm home." I rolled myself over to the livingroom and placed myself in front of the tv."

"Welcome home, I'll be down in a second." I heard my mom on the phone as she was coming down the stairs. "Please tell him, thank you. Bye."

"Who was that mom?"

"Oh just an old friend of mine. I was asking her for a small favor."

"Need a cup of sugar?" She laughed a bit before going into the kitchen.

"Well if I did, it would be quite a journey considering she lives in Kanto."

"Kanto? What's her name?"

"Delia why?" Why did it always have to come full circle?

"No reason. I'm going to bed bye." I pushed myself over to the stairs where a lift brought me to the top. When I got to the room and lied on my bed and just thought for a minute.

"Every time I try to forget I'm reminded. Every single time. I hope tomorrow's better."
