Chapter Six

Sunoo decided to go back to school, catching up with his missing works. No one even noticed his disappearance for a while. He was a nobody in the first place. "Finally~ You're back!" An embrace out of nowhere, startled Sunoo. He realizes it was Dani which made him even more stunned at their position. It was pretty unusual for her to do it. Whenever it was just the two of them, Dani is usually shy yet out-going. It was the first time she was that close to him. He looked at her in slight confusion,. "Sunoo~ I missed you~" She said in a cute voice as her arms hung around his neck. He held her back supporting her as his checks glowed crimson red. "I-I miss you too..." He signed. The hallway was quiet then filled with chatter of students about the pair.

"Omg, Did Ms. popular hugged Mr. outcast?"

"Wait... Mr. Outcast who? Who is he?"

"They're together?"

"Why him though? I don't think they're together..."

"wait, he's cute."

Sunoo playfully glared at Dani, ruffling her hair while she let go and held his hand. The pair walked up to the rooftop, still hand in hand, ignoring everyone's comments about them. Opening the door, they inhaled the fresh air that greeted them. She guided him to an edge to see the whole school's view. He gaped at her as the sun shone of her face. 'Why is she so beautiful?'  Anyone who would've been with her with agree with his thought. She was indeed beautiful. A goddess. He brushed off a strand of hair from her face, staring at her as their eyes meet. He tapped her shoulder then signed, "Why did you do that?"

"Do what?" She giggled. "Earlier, in the hallway..." He asked- signing. "Sunoo, I know this isn't a perfect time to do this but I can't hide it any longer... I-I like you!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as she bows down, hiding her face. He stood there, shocked. 'So, my soulmate really do love me...' He ruffled her hair and made her head up. Her face showed different shades of red. He titled his head and looked at her innocently, "Really? Why?" He signed. She took a deep breath, gaining her conscience to speak up, "Y-yes, I do like you... You're so fun to be with...y-you're very understandi- You're just YOU! S-something about you just attracts me... I-I" He hugged her, before she could even finish. He smiled back and signed, "I like you too." Her eyes glowed as stars were visible in them, and that was the start of their relationship.

Weeks had passed as the couple's love grew. Sunoo was happy that he could finally call her his. Still, she doesn't know that he can speak and that she's his soulmate. Day by day, they'd do things together. His mother was surprisingly okay with it. Well, maybe because of her new personality. But either way, Sunoo was fine with it but he couldn't lie that he prefers this mother more than anything else. Sometimes, he'd visit his mother along with Dani and they got along pretty quickly as his mother treated her like her own daughter.

A quiet Sunday came as he stayed home, doing house works. Sunoo was sad that he couldn't see neither his mother and his girlfriend. Everything was going smoothly as he enjoyed the silence in the house. The silence was shattered when a call interrupted his moment. '032********"- it's that spam number again... but why would it call me... I gave up and end up answering.', "Hello?" He finally answered the phone number.

"Sunoo, remember me? Hehe... I doubt-" The voice sounded utterly familiar "What do you want?" Sunoo burst in anger as it was wasting his time, "Why don't we have a reunion... and why not introduce your girl to me... she's really beautiful, I wonder where you got her..." The man on the other line spoke, touching Dabi's face. Her screams were too muffled but Sunoo immediately recognized the voice, "Dani..." He muttered, "Where are you?" The other end laughed, "I'll send you the, place... quickly get your girl before I make her mine... right?" Her screams were heard in the background, "You're dead meat, Jake." Sunoo muttered, hanging up.
