Chapter Ten

Jake got a message from Dawny Vanidestine, his soulmate. He smiled seeing the person's name. He opened the message and was shocked yet happy at the message he got. He reads the message, "Guess what?! Dani told me what happened back home and she's going to come here. Apparently, mom and dad are getting a divorce and Dani doesn't have any place to stay because mother only wanted to keep Daniel and dad being dad, he wants to be free. Its sucks but we finally got her to come with me. She doesn't have to suffer any longer... and we can finally be happy together Jake ::)))" Jake was sad as he reads their situation.

The oldest and the youngest were both important to their parents and were their parents' favorites. Their parents failed to acknowledge Dani's talents, awards and intelligence. They were barely there when she needed them. Dawny was the golden child along with Daniel. They were the center and their parents would constantly brag about them. Dani didn't mind but she wished her parents would look at her the way they do to her siblings.

Although Dani grew up being independent, Dawny was the closest to her among their family. Dawny was reliable and she did act like an older sister everyone wished they had. She was fun to be with, understanding, trustworthy and so on. When Dani needed help, Dawny would have her back and vise versa.

Dawny sacrificed her childhood so that the other two didn't had to go through what she went through. Dawny undergo pressure from both parents as to her parents wanting her to become the perfect child. Daniel had freedom. He didn't need to work as much as his older sisters nor care that much about his studies. And that's why Dawny and Dani were the closest. They understood each other's pain.

Dani quickly packed her things before anything could happened. She quickly rushed downstairs with her bag, only to see her mother hugging the youngest, "Oh, you finally finished packing." Her mother spoke, "Yeah I did...."

"Sebastian will be accompanying you to the airport Don't keep him waiting and go to the car." Daniel looked at his older sister then back to his mother, "Can she not go? I wouldn't have anyone to play with anymore." The mother sadly smiled a her son, "No we can't, she had done something very bad to our family. That's why your dad and I parted and we can't just keep her here. I-i can't look at her the same way anymore." The mother cried. It was bad acting but the youngest fell for it. As much as the youngest loved his older sister, his mother meant more to him.

Dani hadn't done anything wrong. It's always like that. She gets blamed when its obviously not her. She was the cleanest and the most innocent out of all yet she was willing to take the fall, the blames for her family.

She smiled at her mother and brother for the last time before going in the car and heading off to the airport.
