"Can I get all the Graduates of the building in alphabetic order. Listen to Mrs. Brannen as she calls your name." The superintendent announced.

"Well this is it isnt it?" I said to my peers.

"Yep! it seems like yesterday we were all five!" I admitted.

"I know!- They just called your name " I said to Adrian.

"Okay good luck! Don't fall" I called

Today was the day! Today I would graduate. It would all finally be over. I'm glad to say that My mom and Joeys parents were in the stands. Allen had to go because he had to go to Iraq for something. At first I was sad but work is work. Joey helped me understand , like always . Speaking of Joey we were doing really good. We both vowed no sex before marrige so I was glad about that .We had been going on dates thes pass few weeks but it was like he was being really distant...like before he told me how he felt.

　

*Joey's POV*

　

This was all so nerve racking! Im so nervous! Graduating with my Dad in the stands. Graduating period. It was such a big step in my life plus what was going to happen after this graduation.

"Dude, slow up. Its okay, it really isn't that bad" Jim said.

"What if she dosent want to? Its only been two weeks!"

"Trust me she does!" he said spining his class ring on his finger

"Would the seventh row of people please stand?" the announcer called

"Whatever dude. If she dosen't I'm going to kill you" I mumbled.

"... Nohlan Jacobs..."

I swiflty moved to the stage and I walked to the superintendent,took my dipolma and shook his hand and then took the picture. I looked up at my family. My Dad had a ear to ear smile on his face clapping his hands. It felt good to have him back in my life.

Soon Mandie would be called and when she went up to the platform she stoped and stared at the doube doors and she started to cry a little then I followed her gaze and there in his uniform with another officer was Allen. She wiped her tears away and kept going. When she got off the platform she was smiling so hard it was funny.

Over time the graduation was coming to an end and that made my nerves rise again. Mara, Adrian, Drew, Will , Jim, Keyana and Matt all went and there families all cheered when they were called. Matt's mom screamed his name and he had to take a picture with the face that was the color of Ruldophs nose.

" I now pronounce you the class of 2012!" The superintendent said and cause us to cheer and through our hats , thankfully I caught mine.

Mandie came out of nowhere and hugged me.

"Congrats babe!" she said and screamed .

"Thanks you too! How do you feel?" I said moving towards the stairs.

"Like this!" She said and kissed me.

Mandie wasn't ever one for PDA so she was really excited! When she pulled back I instantly got nervous again. Staring at her like that was really getting to me.

"We finally made it Joey" she whispered.

I looked up at our family and Allen was now up there with them and someone who was on his arm. My dad had a smug look on his face but Allen looked like he was ready to kill me. I mimiked my Dads grin, he knew exactly what was goin on. Allen I think he was mad at me for kissing his little sister.
