*Mara's POV*

I was hanging with Keyana and Adrian .We were talking about how much Joey loves Mandie. Everybody in our school already suscpects it .But she is just oblivious to she has NEVER asked anything about it .

"Why do you think she dosen't notice?"Keyana asked.

"Really? She thinks she's fat so she dosen't even spend one minutes she dosen't have to in a public place so she never sees how he and his girlfriends act" I answered

"But don't they always get into arguments whenever they go out because of how possesive he gets?" Adrain asked.

"Yeah but I remember one time when she had a crush on him I told her that he might like her and she got mad at me for trying so hard for them to be together,which now I think is funny" I said honestly.

"Really? Why do you think its funny now?" Adrain asked

"Because if you look at it from my perspective you could see that after at least four years of trying your hardest not to say anything to them and the way I got aggravated with them,I think the way I got so aggravated is funny. I mean I used to go crazy. I really wanted somelove like that. But now I have it with Matt" I smiled. Even though we are kind of having problems...

"We've been friends since as long as I can remember.Joey had started out being overly procectant and VERY possessuve ,'secretly staring at her '.Even with his past relationships,they all ended because he acted like he wanted her.Mandie always came above his girlfriends.But she was totally clueless about it." I said

I remember one time when we were in the seventh grade,we had a fire drill. Joey and I had a class together at the time. And Mandie had a class that was in the from of the building.He got so carred away with his paranoia that he left our class and his latest girlfriend to go and find her, because back then they didn't have their own phone. But anyway,that meant he had to run arcross a football feild and two parking lots to go and get her.I mean lets face it ;He was head over heal in love with that sta-

"Oww! What was that for?!" I said, coming out of my train of thought.

"Hello? Earth to Mara? This is aliens speaking!" Keyana never knew when to stop.

"Your phone has been ringing non-stop"Adrian said as I grabbed my phone.

Three missed calls: 852-602-9080

Why was the hospital calling me? I stopped volunteering over three monthes ago.Then suddenly the phone started ringing again.

There they are again.What did they need?

"Hello?....What?!...I'm on the way Ms.Lanter" I grabbed my keys as I ended the call.

"Everybody Get up! Mandie and Joey have been in an accident!"I started searching for my keys.

Once we all ran in and took a seat in the waiting room,we seen Mr and Mrs.Jacobs and Mrs. Lanter.Mr.Jacobs was holding Mrs.Jacobs,who was crying her eyes out and so was Mrs.Lanter.

That wasn't good. I could feel the tears prickle at my eye lids. I didn't like for people to see me like this not even my boyfriends. No! I had to be strong for Mandie and Joey.I wiped the tear from my eyes and decided on staying back until they stopped crying to ask what happened.

"Are you okay?"Keyana asked."No but I'll be fine what about you?" I answered.

"No,I'll be back" I guess she didn't like for people to see her like this either.Keyana was never the one to let you see her cry ,but you always knew when she was crying.I just really don't like it period. It shows how weak and volnerable you really are.
