Chapter Eleven

I woke and my vision was blurry.I rubbed my eye to see clearler.I also noticed that there was a note beside me.

Dear Amanda,

Your father called again.He wants you to visit him in the hospital. He's in room 334.I had to an early meeting .See you at dinner.

It was already little pass ten ,he must be waiting!I dragged myself to the bathroom.

After twenty minutes of a shower,I went to the closet to pick my clothes out. When I wasn't at school I wore normal clothes .I picked out some shorts that stoped at my mid-thigh and a white scoop neck white shirt and some sandels.I pulled my hair back into a messy bun and I grabbed my phone and it buzzed.

Joey:*Hey are we hanging out today?*

*No sorry I have to visit Dad*

Joey: *Can I come?*

*Sure *

*Be at your house in 5*

I thought five minutes is enough time to get some cereal.I walked downstairs and poured my cereal and just as I was about to eat my cereal Joey walked in.

"Hey,um how'd you get in here?"I asked.Not that I minded it's just that I was seriously wondering.

"Door mat key" He shrugged.

"So are you ready?" He asked.

"Uh right after this okay?" was seriously hoping he said okay because I was hungry!

"Okay ,sure" he said and took off his jacket.

"Thanks so much! I'm STARVING. You want any?" I asked.

"Sure!" he said.

I got him a bowl and poured in his cereal and we sat and ate.

"So does the ol man remember me?"he asked.

"You know,I really dont know"I answerd really wondering.

"Mandie do you think I could meet him if he dosen't"" He said taking a huge out of his cereal.

"Sure but why?"I asked wondering.

"Because I want him to know who his child has been around her whole life"

"Sure I guess"

"What are we doing after the visit?"

"Depends,what cha wanna do?"

"Let's ..."

"Hey we can go to the new resturant downtown!" I exclaimed

"Are you talking about Steak n' Shake?"

"Yeah! We could go there"

"Okay"

"Alright so are you done?"

"Yep"I said popping the 'p'

We gathered our stuff and we headed out the door.

When we got out of the car all of a sudden I got really scared.I got scared of what might happen If her does what he did to me that night again? What if he is still mean? What if he is just like what Mom was secreming at him that night? What if he still doesn't love me still?

"It's Okay Mandie,Just open the door."Joey said reasurringly.

I slowly opened the door to see the same Audrey I had seen at the coffee shop.Except he had monitors and IV fluids everywhere.
