My Dear Valentine

Chapter 04: Precious Little Brother

        Saturday of the morning, a good day for Akanika Sumabara. She wakes up on her bed and goes to her cabinet to change her clothes. In the kitchen, she wears her green apron and starts to cook a meal.

        "Ops, I forgot to prepare for Loreo's favorite meal. I got to make it too.", she said and dropped an egg yolk in the pan.

        The rice cooker has finished cooking the rice. Akanika prepares and arranges the meals on the table and then took off her apron.

        "Loreo! I've just finished preparing our meals. Get down now here.", she called him with a generous voice.

        "Okay, Onee-san", he replied

        Loreo went down and seated in the chair. Akanika seated beside him. Loreo, an eleven years old elementary student. He is a kind-hearted, obedient, cheerful, cute looking, honest and the most precious little brother for Akanika. Both of his hair and eyes is black same as Akanika, but the different is he has a curly hair.

        "Bon Appetite!", a prayer for both brother and sister before starting to eat their food.

        "Ah, Onee-san, do you know that we will have a new neighbors next to our house? Can't wait to know the new people  in that house. We got to check it out.", he said while his face shows excitement.

        "Loreo, you must finish your meal before you do something. And also remember, don't talk if your mouth is full. It is a bad manner.", she said while wiping a piece of rice from his cheeks.

        "Okay, if Onee-san said it, I'll do it.", he said and then swallow the food he ate.

        She smiled at him. "Get never changed with your attitude, Loreo.", she muttered.

        When they finished eating their meals, Loreo volunteered to wash the dishes. Akanika accepts it with a pleasure.

        Akanika went to her room and when to the bathroom. She takes a bath, brushes her teeth, and then dry herself. She goes to her cabinet and wears a casual outfit. And then, she makes herself pretty with her makeup. Her outfit is a color pink with a white stripes on the bottom, and her hair has been clipped with her favorite flower.

        She went down and told to Loreo that she will go for shopping to gather supplies. Loreo quickly went to her and kissed her on her cheeks. She replied it with a kiss too.

        "See you later, Onee-san. Bring me chocolate ice cream when you come back.", he requested from her.

        "Okay, if it's what you want, I'll do it. Be sure to close the door when you want to leave the house. And also, be careful and aware. Okay.", she said and went outside their house.

        When she walks in the street, she saw a bunch of workers and a truck. They arranged and moved some household things inside the house next from her home. She remembered what her little brother told her. Then, she proceeds to head to the market.

        While Akanika went for shopping, Loreo started to clean the house. He started from the kitchen and then the living room. He cleaned up both of the rooms. Almost one hour had passed, and Loreo have finally finished his work.

        He went to his room and brought out his assignments. When he finished it, he went down of a sudden in the lounge. He turned on the television and watched his favorite channel. Almost thirty minutes had passed, and Loreo decided to go outside the house. He wears a blue jacket when he goes outside.

        On his way, he remembered that they have a new neighbors and transferred their things inside their new house. He quickly headed for the area. He asked the workers if the new owner of the house have arrived.

        "No kid. Sorry, but I have to move. There are too many things we have to finish.", the worker said from him.

        "Oh my apology too, sorry for bothering you. Thank you very much sir.", he said and then he walk away.

        He went back to the house and took off his jacket. He seated in the sofa of the living room. He felt disappointed that the new neighbors have not yet arrived in the house next from them. He can't wait to see and greet them. He wondered what kind of people will live in that house. And now, he decided to watch for the arrival of the new neighbors. 

        In the meantime, Akanika was fighting for the last chocolate ice cream. It was the last one in the chamber. She thinks about for the strategy. A girl has got the ice cream. She jumps over and quickly steals it from the girl. And then, she runs in the cashier and pays it. She felt relax, but the others got mad at her. She knows that they are going to attack her. She runs away from the shop.

        Akanika calls for a taxi to go back home. When she entered the cab, she saw Takeroshi in the corner. She wondered why he was there. She just ignored him and told the driver what is the location of her house.
