Chapter 13: Diverge Headway

The friendship between Takeroshi and Akanika become more firm and stronger than before. It's almost three weeks have passed and often see each other together. Also, they often hanged out with other friends. Every night, Takeroshi always walked her to her house safely. Thus, Akanika's little brother loves what they doing now.

It's already lunch break, and someone asked Takeroshi to introduce him to Akanika. He asked while his hands begging him, "Come on, Takeroshi-kun. Please introduce me to your friend. Please, I'm begging you."

A friend of the guy next to him asked, "Yeah right, Takeroshi. Just introduce him to her."

Takeroshi said, "No way, I know what you're going to do. Sorry Sakaro, I don't want to."

Sakaro Minato, a second year high school student and classmate of Takeroshi in the same class. He is handsome, with a curly blonde hair and he is popular to girls too just like Takeroshi. He looks very nice and approachable but deep inside he has a dark side of him.

He said with an angry face, "Oh yeah, so you're going alone to get rid of her, huh. How selfish are you? I don't think so."

Takeroshi looked at his eyes scarily and he grabs his sleeves. He said, "Don't do anything reckless towards her, Sakaro. And I have no intention to do something bad like you always did to your girls. She is not a toy ready to be sold for you. So back off or else I'm....," and he was stopped by Akhi whose watching them quietly.

Sakaro said, "A-Akhi Toska..."

Akhi said, "Oh my, I'm so so sorry guys. My friend was not in a good mood today. So please leave him be. I'll let you know if he is ready to talk to you guys, okay? Bye."

He drags Takeroshi in the top floor. Takeroshi thanked him for saving him and apologize for his recklessness. Akhi just gave him his lunch box and told him to take it. The two were happily eating in the top floor and share some good vibes. When they have finished their meals, Akhi started to talk about something to him.

He asked, "Why don't just introduce him to Akanika-chan? He is a good man after all."

Takeroshi felt irritated and he replied with a poker face, "I don't think so."

Akhi said, "Okay, my bad. Don't show me that poker face, okay?"

Takeroshi said, "Akhi, you're wrong about him. Sakaro Minato was a cruel, arrogant and dishonest person. He shows his charm, good characteristics and behavior to everyone but deep inside he is a monster."

Akhi asked with curiosity, "Huh? He is a monster?"

Takeroshi replied, "Yes indeed, he is a monster. When he gets bored to a girl, he always broke up and dumped them without hesitation. Thus, I don't want to let it happen to Akanika-chan. Also, if he does it purposely, I'll make sure I stop his scheming. That's the reason why I can't introduce him to her."

Akhi smiled at him and he said, "Oh pal, you're a good man. You protected her from those guys, huh. I'm so proud of you, Takeroshi-kun." And he teased him by giving him a rolling hold in his head.

Takeroshi said, "Tsk, come on stop it, Akhi. You'll do the same thing if you're in my position."

Akhi released him and become quiet. He muttered, "Maybe, sorry Takeroshi-kun."

Takeroshi asked him, "Hey, what do you think? Could I invite her for a coffee tomorrow? What do you think?"

Akhi got an idea and he teased him, "Right! That's a wonderful idea. Try to take a date and fall in love with each other."

Takeroshi realized his mistake and blushed for a moment. He said, "S-Stop that, Akhi. That's not a good idea though. W-Were just friends and it stays in that relationship."

Akhi continued to tease him, "Oh really, it's so obvious you like her. Takeroshi-kun you're so carefree. Denying the truth, how awful you are? If Akanika-chan hears it, she will dump you before you make a move. Fu-fu"

Takeroshi felt irritated yet felt happy about that. He said with an angry face, "S-Stop that, Akhi.You're not helping out. I told you before we're just friends and that's all. And also, I don't have any intention to court her. Jeez, I'm going now." Then, he left Akhi in the top floor.

Akhi looked at the sky and he said, "Takeroshi-kun, you can run, but you can't deny your true feelings to her."

In the park of the school, Akanika and Suzaki were seated under the tree. They are talking about Takeroshi.

Suzaki asked Akanika, "Akanika-chan, are you dating, Senpai?"

Akanika blushed and she replied, "N-No way, Why should I do that though? We're just friends, Suzaki-chan."

Suzaki felt suspicious and she said, "Oh really, why you guys go together wherever you go?"

"B-Because he insisted on going. S-So what's the point with that?" Akanika replied from her and she felt curious about her weird behavior.

Suzaki asked again, "Fu-fu. What do you think? Is Senpai has a feelings to you too? You guys look couple when you guys walked home together this days." Then, she showed a picture of them.

Akanika felt embarrassed and she asked while her face turning red, "Where did you take that photo? Erase it." They deprived the cell phone, but Suzaki stills hold it. Akanika's face looked like a poor little cat. She asked while begging at her, "Please, Suzaki-chan. Please erase that photo. Please..."

Suzaki continued to tease her and she asked, "Before I do that, tell me first something. Do you have a feelings now to Senpai or not?"

Akanika felt shy and keep quiet. Suzaki squeezed her cheeks. Akanika was hurt but still never answer her question.

Suzaki asked while continuing to squeeze her cheeks, "Come on, little cub. Tell me if you have feelings with him. Or else I'll spread the photo to the whole campus."

Akanika replied immediately, "Y-Yes, I am. Please stop it." Suzaki smirked and then she released her hands to her cheeks. However, she continued to tease her.

"Fu-fu. What? I can't hear you. Pardon," Suzaki asked while her right hand is near on her right ears.

Akanika said and blushed with a pitiful face, "Suzaki-chan you're so mean. Y-Yes, I do like him but as a friend."

Suzaki asked her, "What kind of personality do you like him as a friend?"

Akanika replied, "Umm, he is so nice to me. Also, he looks handsome and cute with a sense of humor. And also, he always makes me smile."

Suzaki felt happy and she grabbed her hands. She said with twinkling eyes, "Don't worry, Akanika-chan. I'll do my best to make you and him fall in love with each other. So, do your best too, okay?" And Akanika nodded with confidence and realized something.

Akanika said, "W-Wait a minute, I-I said I do like him as a friend but not in love with Senpai."
