Chapter 12: Officially Friends

The two continues to talk and laugh with each other. No one would think this will happen.

Akanika said, "Umm, senpai. Sorry for all I've done wrong with you. The truth is, I just don't really hate you that much. It just I can't take to see your face."

"Huh? But why? Did I do something wrong with you?" Takeroshi asked

"No, your face just reminded me the person who make me suffered mostly. And the one who break and tortured my heart." she replied and felt sad when she remembered her past.

Takeroshi said, "Oh that's the main reason why you actually reacted so much like that. When we first met in the middle school when I was transferred as a third year two years ago. Haha, sorry if my face is just like him."

"What I've hated most too is your behavior and how you approach me well. That's so familiar too. You just acted just like him." she explained from him.

"Oh really. So neither my face nor my behavior actually makes you sick haha. That's the another reason why you are always avoiding me sometimes. Haha." he replied with a smile.

"I'm totally sorry, senpai. Please forgive my rudeness, cruelness, and pettish act." she begged while bowing her head.

"I forgive you. And also, because of you good manners, I'll lessen your punishment right now. Hehe." he said with a smile while thumbs up at her.

"Eh? That's so awful, Senpai.... Just eliminate or erase it."she said while her face puffed angrily.

"I don't wanna do that. Hehe." he said

"Oh come on." she replied while staring him angrily.

Both of them laughed at each other.

Takeroshi said, "You see, it was not so hard to talk with a guy especially to me. Hence, please forget that awful man because the past is past. He doesn't deserve you. Just carry it over will load your heart of grief and sorrow. Just let it go and forget about it. Start a new life and move forward."

"Thank you very much for the good advice, Senpai. I really appreciate it." she replied with a smile on her face.

Takeroshi went outside her house, and he said, "By the way, nice to meet you now, Akanika Sumabara. I mean Akanika-chan." He raised his right hand waiting to shake it by her hands.

"Nice to meet you too, Takeroshi Kurisimo. Let's see each other tomorrow." And she gave him a handshake confirming they are now officially friends.

It's Monday, all of the students were coming back to the school. As usual in this day, the girls were surrounding Takeroshi and always asked him to go with one of them. Some of his friends tried to help and rescue him including his bestfriend Akhi Toska. However, this help makes it worse than ever because some of these girls were his basketball fans. Thus, the girls started to talk and yelled their feelings for them.

"Yes, this is so wonderful! The team captain of our basketball team Akhi Toska and the number one heartthrob of the campus Takeroshi  Kurisimo were here with us. What a lucky day?!!! Kyah!!!"

"WE LOVE YOU TAKEROSHI!!!!"

"WE LOVE YOU TOSHKA!!!!"

"Please guys make me your girlfriend!"

"Please have a date me...me...me!!!!"

"No you don't! Please be mine!!!!"

Akhi said, "Oh crap, I really sorry, Takeroshi-kun. I never expected this will happen. I should better stay away rather than to be added to your problems in here."

Takeroshi replied, "Don't blame yourself. It's totally my fault. Don't worry, we can survive and get out of this crowd."

As they continued to surround them, Akanika and Suzaki were walking ahead to the school.

Suzaki noticed her energetic and cheerful face. She was glowing wonderful with her flower hairpin while singing quietly.

She asked, "What kind of thing would make my best friend glowing like a flower in this morning, huh?"

"Huh? What glowing? No, it just... I have a good sleep yesterday." Akanika replied while she was fluttering.

"Oh really, so who make you happy like that, huh? Akanika-chan?" Suzaki asked again.

Suzaki looked at her face and examined it. She said, "Tsk, come on Akanika-chan. Who is the man who make you so cheerful and energetic. Your smile makes me wondering that you feel like in love again. Hehe, am I right?"

Akanika blushed for a sudden, and she said, "It's none of your business. For your information, I'm...I'm not in love with someone else. Nevertheless, I just felt like to move on and change my way of life. Throw the old trash and make a new one. That's it. That's all it is, Suzaki-chan."

"Okay, even I don't really understand what you really want to mean. I think we definitely settle it after we surpassed this crowd." Suzaki said and pointed her finger at the girls.

Akanika felt angry when she saw them surrounding Takeroshi. She said, "Hey girls, would you mind to step aside?"

One of the girls said, "And why? What do you really think you are? Don't destroy our moments here." And when they looked back, they felt scared at her.

"Because my bestfriend and I will be late to our class." she said while clicking her fingers in her arms one by one. And also, she stared at them scary. Hence, the girls run away.

"Oh Akanika-chan, you're a life saver. Thank you very much." Takeroshi said from her.

"Your welcome, Senpai. Oh no, let's go now Suzaki-chan." she said and they run together ahead to their room.

"So, that beautiful woman was Akanika Sumabara, huh. I heard a little from the gossips of the girls here. She's pretty yet scary. Hmm... maybe I tried to introduce myself to her. What do you think, Takeroshi-kun?" Akhi asked

Takeroshi flustered, and he said, "Oh no you don't. You're too impulsive, think before you act. As your truly concerned friend, just leave her alone."

"And why? Are you scared when I said those words, huh?" Akhi asked from him.

Takeroshi replied, "No, of course not! Nevertheless, just keep your distance from her. Okay?"

"Okay, as you said that. Well, this is my second time to see you become close to a girl when we are kids. So I should follow your warning." Akhi said

"Huh? What? Am I have been close to a girl when I was a kid, huh, Akhi?" Takeroshi asked from him.

Akhi felt sorry for him, and he said, "Just let's go now, Takeroshi-kun. Or else we will be late to our class today." And he just ignore him and walked towards their classroom while Takeroshi felt curious about what he said recently.
