Bittersweet Mate bond

Not again

It was very late, when she went to bed in her new room that night. She had a long warm shower and then dinner with her family.

Her thoughts drifted toward her mate. He was a handsome man. His voice was so masculine. Even though she felt bad for thinking about him like this but she cannot help it. His mother also didn't talk about this on the dinner table. She knew they will never want her to be with such a vile man. But she couldn't help get attracted towards him. As sleep took over her, she felt content that her friends and family are with her and still alive.

Next day after breakfast, everyone was alloted with their work except her. She got to know that the man from yesterday, who told them to follow him to this pack was the beta of the pack.
" Hello luna, my name is David and I am the beta of this pack. The alpha has called for you. Please follow me." He said and started walking.
It felt so different to hear luna for the first time. She felt weird but in a good way. Her wolf was feeling giddy and excited.
They made their way to the third floor opposite to the direction of her room and stood in front of a big mahogany door with alpha inscripted on it.
She knocked hesitantly.
She heard a muffled "Come in".

There he was sitting on a big chair and looking at some files. He was so gorgeous, her wolf said with a purr.
"Sit down" his voice was hard devoid of any emotions. That made her come back to reality.

Once she is settled on the chair, he looked up to her. " So selena, as you know you are the luna of darkwood pack so there are things that you have to do as the luna. One of them is to give me heir. That's the most important job for you as I want a strong son. Mating with you will also make my pack strong and powerful. You see, I never wanted a mate but now that you are here, I think it is a good thing as you will only make my wolf strong."

I cannot believe my ears. He just want powers from me. Hah! What did I expect.

" Powers ALPHA, you only want that. Do your wolf agree with that?" I asked as my wolf was whimpering hearing that her mate doesn't want to love her.

" Well he has no say in what I want and what I don't want, but for your information he agrees to whatever I say."
His eyes turned black. He was gritting his teeth. I saw his eyes, there was his wolf looking so angry. I can see in his eyes, he wanted to take me down. He sees me as a threat.
"Well -" I started but he abruptly stopped me.
" I think we should mate in two days from today. It will be full moon. A perfect day to mate and you will have some time to settle down with things".
" I will never mate with you willingly alpha. I am not a breeding cow. I am a person and I have feelings. I don't deserve this and I will not settle with anything less than I deserve." I said with no emotion in my voice. If he can do this then I can also do the same. If he refuse our bond then I'll do the same. Suddenly I felt so suffocated in the presence of my own mate so I stood to get out of there.
In a Instant, he was in front of me. "You have no say in this little mate. I am your alpha and you will do as I say willingly or without your will. You are mine and no one can Stop me from taking what's mine. Not even you." He said with so much vile in his voice that a tear escaped from my eyes. He will kill me in a Instant if I refuse him one more time. His wolf will not take mercy on me. He want to pounce on me this instance. I can see it all so I bowed my head out of fear and to give him the satisfaction of submission.
"Get out" he said backing away from me.

I ran out of his office and went to my room. I locked the door and tears started making their way out of my eyes. Is this what my life is going to be. I didn't go out of my room that whole day not even for dinner. I was taking everything in. Today is the only day I will cry on my fate. Not again I promised to myself.
