Bittersweet Mate bond

Brother

I went back to pack house and met with anne. She was in the kitchen. I didn't know what came upon me but I went to her and greeted her with a small smile.

"Hello anne"
" Oh hi luna" She greeted back with a smile.

"When did you came to this pack anne" I asked a simple question.
"Umm I guess about 20 years ago, I was only 16 then, my mate is a soldier here. So I met him in my older pack and then came to this pack with him"she said.
About 20 years, I don't think Simon is more than 24 or 25. So she came here when Simon was barely 4. That means she must know why is he this way.

"Then you must know a lot about alpha" I asked and her smile vanished and she nodded.
She knew where this conversation is going but I'm not going to stop even if it is uncomfortable for her. I have to know.

"Where is his family" I asked simply.

"Alpha parents are dead. The previous alpha and luna died when alpha was 16.

"Okay, any other family member that i should know about" I asked.

She was silent for a few seconds avoiding my eye contact.
"So there is someone... Who is it anne? " I asked curiously.

"Alpha has a twin brother but he doesn't live in this pack anymore".
A twin brother, I never expected that. My heart started beating faster. I didn't know what happened but some part if me pieced all of it together.
Twin alpha tend to share a mate. So maybe I have another mate too. It completely felt natural to think.
From the time I have met Simon, I knew there are still something missing so this is what I was missing. My mark is also a half moon. It all make sense now.

I came out of my dazzled form, "why does he not live here in this pack" I asked because twin alpha brother always sticks to each other as their wolf are connected. So it is very un common for twins to stay apart.

"Umm... I don't know if it is my place to tell you.. You should ask alpha."
She told me with clear hesitation in her voice.
"Okay, thankyou Anne" I said with  a grateful smile.
