Part 6

James had decided to throw a party. So of course everyone was there. Remus had gotten mad at Sirius earlier that day. He couldn't explain why he was mad at Sirius. Obviously he was jealous. Basically what happened was James wanted Sirius to start talking to girls so he could get a girlfriend so he and Lily and Sirius and whoever Sirius dated could go on double dates. First off James and Lily are not currently dating at least not that Remus was aware of. Second Remus was in love with Sirius. So let's just say Remus was drinking a lot.

"Remus you should probably slow down mate."

James said with his hand on Remus' shoulder.

"Yea... Well maybe.. You should speed up."

Remus said slowly he felt like he was gonna throw up. Remus took another shot then a big swig of whatever was in the bottle in front of him. He gagged.

"Ok how about we go to the bathroom."

James said pushing Remus toward the bathroom. Remus made it just in time to throw up in the toilet. He threw up in the toilet twice then sat on the floor next to it. James sat at the wall in front of him. He knew something was up. Remus rarely drank like this. James also seen how bitchy he had been all day. He knew Remus was upset.

"Remus what's going on?"

Remus let out a sigh and laid his head back with his eyes closed.

"Shh James it doesn't matter."

James knew there was something up Remus was in a good mood before lunch. So it had to have happen during lunch because nothing happened after that. That he knew of. At lunch they talked about relationships maybe Remus is jealous because we aren't asking him about his relationship. Or maybe it's because he thinks we are gonna get girlfriends and leave him behind.

"Remus is it because of what we talked about at lunch?"

Remus looked up suddenly.

"How did you know?"

He said trying not to slur his words.

"Lucky guess."

James responded.

"Look... just don't..... don't tell.... pr...Sirius."

Remus said. How did James figure out so fast? Remus thought.

"Why can't i tell Sirius? Are you embarrassed about it?"

James asked.

"No I'm not embarrassed....just if he found out he wouldn't wanna be my friend. I care about him to much to stop being friends with him at least."

James was very confused at what Remus said.

"Why would he stop being friends with you? I know and i still wanna be your friend."

James said Remus sighed.

"Yea but it's different im not in love with you."

Remus said James suddenly understood why Remus was so upset. Remus dropped his head on the toilet lid and closed his eyes.

"Oh your in love with him. That makes so much sense."

James said facepalming. Remus sat up in shock.

"You didn't know?"

James shook his head.

"I do now."

"Fuck."

Remus said rubbing his eyes. He put his knees to his chest and his head to his knees.

"Hey it's ok. I still love you your my best friend."

James said putting an arm around Remus.

"James i love you too, but you should really move cause."

He said as he quickly sat up opening the toilet lid and throwing up in it. James rubbed his back as he threw up. Then Sirius walked in.

"There you are James have you seen, Remus I have been looking for you everywhere. What's going on I seen you where throwing drinks back like crazy?"

Remus sat back down. Sirius grabbed a wash cloth and got it wet. James moved as Sirius went and sat next to sit next Remus. James left leaving the two alone. Sirius wiped Remus' mouth with the cloth. Remus had his head against the wall and Sirius pulled it to his chest. He rubbed his head.

"Moony, what is going on?"

Remus sighed and clung onto Sirius. Sirius smiled but was worried about Remus.

"Come on let's get you to bed."

Sirius said pulling him and Remus up off the floor. Remus let out a little whine.

"Come on it's ok."

They stood Remus hit Sirius in the chest as he cried out.

"I don't want you to date anyone."

Sirius looked concered.

"Hey I'm not gonna date any of those girls James tried to set me up with."

Sirius said trying to rub the tears off of his face. Remus pulled away and almost fell. Sirius caught him.

"No."

He cried.

"I don't want you dating anyone."

Sirius was about to reply and Sirius pulled him into a kiss.

"Remus you have no idea how much I want this, but you are drunk. So let's save it for when you aren't. Come on let me take you to bed."

Sirius put his arm around Remus' waist leading him out of the bathroom and to the stairs. When they got to their dorm Sirius opened the door and they walked in. Sirius led Remus to his bed and sat him down. He stood in front of him. Wiping his tears. Remus wrapped his arms around his waist and hugged him tight. Sirius pushed his fingers through Remus' hair. He hugged him back tight. Sirius leaned down and kissed him on the head.

"You should sleep."

"So should you."

Remus said pulling both of them down. Sirius smiled.

"Remus? Remus?"

Remus had fallen asleep with his arms around Sirius. Sirius rubbed his face. And just laid on him.

They next morning Remus woke up next to Sirius a little confused. He barely remembered last night. Sirius smiled at him weakly.

"Hey how you feeling?"

"I'm fine just, what happened last night."

"I was afraid wouldn't remember."

"Well I don't mind you sleeping in my bed I'm just a little confused."

"Well last night you kissed me and told me you didn't want anyone to date me."

Remus automatically put his hands over his face. Then realized Sirius was in his bed. Sirius started rubbing the back of Remus' neck.

"Hey, I never said I didn't want you to."

Remus lookedat him. He looked him deep in the eyes. Sirius pulled Remus closer by the neck. Remus kissed him. Then James started screaming.

"Woooh go Sirius. Go Remus. Now we can have double dates."

"Shut up James."

They both yelled at him then pulled the curtain shut and started kissing again.
