Wolfstar Oneshots

Part 14

Sirius and Remus sit close together on the couch. Remus reading and Sirius sketching. James and Peter sit at the table doing some homework. Remus places his head on Sirius' shoulder and continues reading. James notices and sees Sirius blushing and he smiles.

"They are so in love." James said a little to loudly to Peter while signaling to Sirius and Remus. The two get visibly uncomfortable and separate a bit. James frowns that wasn't his intention. Later that evening Sirius went up to James.

"Hey what did you mean?" He asks James. They hadn't talked about it yet so James was expecting that.

"About which part." James asks sitting on Sirius' bed.

"What you said. That we are in love."

"I mean are you not in love with Remus?" Sirius looked down.

"I mean I don't know. Do you think he's in...in love...with me?" James' jaw dropped with a smile.

"Sirius." He whisper yelled.

"You're in love with him." Sirius gulped.

"Uh yea... I am." James suddenly couldn't sit still and started moving.

"I knew it. You have to tell him." James said making Sirius drop his jaw.

"Are you crazy not happening."

"Why not?"

"Because James if he doesn't like me back not only will I be crushed but he is my best friend I cannot, will not lose him."

"But Sirius he is so clearly in love with you." Sirius opened his mouth abit thinking.

"No. Look just don't say anything please." Sirius begs.

"But Pads."

"I mean it." He said staring at James, pointing in his face sternly.James sighed.

"Fine." After dinner James was walking outside when Remus found him.

"Hey Prongs?"

"Hey mate. What's up?"

"So um... about earlier what did you mean? You know about saying we where so in love." James sighed.

"Are you in love with Sirius?"

"What? No Sirius pshh. Yea right. Did he say anything about liking me?" James rolled his eyes.

"If you're not in love with him why do you care?"

"Um I don't, nevermind." He said starting to walk away. James just stood in place. Remus turned around and walked back.

"Ok fine I'm in love with him did he say anything?" James smiled.

"Just tell him how you feel, yea?"

"Not gonna happen."

"And why not?"

"Because James he is my best friend I'm not risking it. Plus how could anyone love the monster I am." Remus said looking sad and looking away. A second more of this talk and he would start crying. James put his hand on Remus' shoulder and pulled him in for a hug.

"You're no monster Moony." Remus let go.

"Look I know you think that, but I am a monster. Just don't say anything." He turned and walked away.

"I love you." James yelled. Remus turned and smiled.

"It's not the same." Remus smiled and continued walking. Later that night almost everyone had gone to bed James and Sirius played some card game well Remus sat on the couch reading.

"Well I'm tired I'm going to bed."

"Awe come on Prongs. One more round."

"Play with Moony Pads."

"Ok Moony do you wanna play cards?" James walked to bed.

"I just started this chapter. When I finish?"

"Sure. But until then I'm sitting with you." Sirius walked over and sat next to Remus. Remus put his arm around Sirius. Sirius pushed his head on Remus' chest. Remus wondered if Sirius could hear how hard remus' heart was beating. Sirius was smiling at how fast it was beating. Sirius laid his head in Remus' lap. Remus smiled. He rubbed Sirius' head with one hand and held his book with the other. Sirius stared at him.
"Ok I'm finished wanna play cards?" Sirius shook his head.

"Why you staring at me huh?" Sirius sat up. Sitting on Remus' lap.

"It's just...." Sirius put his hand on Remus cheek.

"What? Just what?" Sirius smiled.

"Your beautiful Remus." Remus rolled his eyes.

"Shut up."

"No I mean it. You are beautiful." Sirius said leaning closer to Remus. Remus put his hands on Sirius' waist.

"Remus?"

"Yes Pads"

"Can I... nevermind it's dumb." He looked away.

"Ask me." Remus said gently grabbing his face so he would look at him.

"I was gonna ask if. If I could kiss you? But it's ok don't worry about it." Remus blushed then thought for a second trying to gain courage.

"Ask me." Remus smiled.

"Ask you?" Sirius looked at his face confused.

"Ask if you can kiss me." Sirius smiled.

"Moony can I kiss you?"

"Yes." Remus' heart started to beat quicker. Sirius smiled then leaned forward slowly biting his lip. Remus gulped. Sirius was nervous. He had wanted this for so long and never expected it to happen. Then their lips finally met and it was pure bliss.
