After classes are done for the day I sneak off from my friends. I have plans to turn Apollo's head into a pumpkin. I need a few things from the potions store. I sneak into the empty closet smiling slightly. I curse under my breath when I hear the door close. I turn around and see Draco standing there. I breathe a sigh of relief.
"Bloody hell, Malfoy. I thought you were Snape coming to yell at me," I confess.
"What are you doing in the potions store anyway?" Draco questions.
"How did you even know I was in here?" I step towards him and smile. "Were you following me?"
"Don't flatter yourself, de Meath," Draco tells me.
"Well then where were you going?" I question. "Going to see pug-faced Pansy?"
Draco groans. "Will you ever let that go?"
I shake my head. "We all know you love the attention." I turn around and start searching for the ingredients I need.
"What are you looking for?" Draco asks.
"Flitterby Moth, Bouncing Bulb and Foxglove," I tell him.
"Whose head are you turning into a pumpkin?" Draco asks.
I look over my shoulder and smile. "Apollo."
Draco smiles ever so slightly. "He's getting on your nerves that much?"
I grab the vial of Foxglove. "He has not stopped about Potter being in the tournament and about how unfair it is. When we all know he's just mad it's not him."
"Well he is right. It's truly not fair," Draco tells me.
I give him a look. "I can turn your head into a pumpkin next."
Draco shakes his head. "You would never dare."
I narrow my eyes as I step closer towards him. "I wouldn't?"
Draco steps closer to me. "You know what I could do to you if you dare use a silly potion on me."
I smile slightly. "Come on now Draco," I put my hand on his chest, "You don't have it in you to hurt me."
Draco grabs my hand. "You don't know what I am capable of."
I pull my hand from Draco's grip. "You don't scare me Malfoy." Draco scowls. "Now either help or leave."
Draco takes one last look at me before stomping off.
Most of the Hogwarts students have decided to support Cedric instead of Harry for the tournament. My friends included. Most of Hogwarts is wearing badges with Cedric on a bright yellow background but when the badge spins it shows Harry on a green background with the words "Potter Stinks" on it. My friends hounded me about not wearing one but I really don't have anything against Harry. I'm surely not holding a grudge like Apollo.
Every time Harry walks through the halls people shout at him. "Cedric rules!"
Draco is perched up in a tree as the rest of us stand around talking. Apollo has managed to only complain about Harry three times today. I think we are making real progress.
Draco calls out to Harry as he walks by, "Why so tense Potter? My father and I have a bet you see. I don't think you're gonna last ten minutes in this tournament." Draco hops down from the tree. "He disagrees. He thinks you won't last five."
Harry walks over and gets in Draco's face. "I don't give a damn what you or your father thinks, Malfoy. He's vile and cruel, and you're just pathetic."
Harry starts to walk away. I can see it on Draco's face that he is angry. He starts to cast a spell but before he can finish he turns into a white ferret. I cover my mouth to keep from laughing.
