"Arthur, Ada said you needed me." Charlie says sitting on a stool by the bar. "You're starting early, the place is crowded." Arthur tells her.

"Now?" Charlie questions, "yeah, good luck, you'll do great." Arthur says giving her a side hug before going back to pouring drinks, handing her a shot, which she downs, slamming the glass back onto the counter. Walking onto the new stage where Paul the guitarist was already stood.

"Paul, nice to see you again." She smiles, "you ready?" He asks and she nods, taking ahold of the microphone that the pub had purchased with the renovation.

"Good evening everyone, how's it feel being back?" Charlie asks gaining the attention of the pub, as people cheer. "That's nice to hear. Real nice. For those of you who don't know who I am. The names Charlotte, that is Paul." She introduces. "Now let's go on with this, eh. Get this party started."

I was born to a family of jokers
Gamblers and smokers living on the line
I was raised by strong-headed women
Men who tested limits and did a little time

And it ain't a mystery you fell for me
We're just two lost souls trying to find our peace
Love like ours ain't a masterpiece
It's a good day in the sun

I was born to love you
Out where the water is wide
Make me your country bride
You'll be my prince of tides

You were born to heal me
Under a velvet sky
Cattails dancing in the light
We were born to live a long and happy life
A happy life

Yeah, folks like us
We may lie down in darkness
But we don't lose our sparks; we bring back a good story to tell

Cause we grew up around beauty
Sunsets better than a movie
We knew it was our appointed duty to love like the world might end
And to toast to good nights with friends

(Looking round, she sees people dancing and swaying together. But a particular couple caught her eye, her aunt pol was dancing with a man about half her age, whilst drunk out of her head)

(Continuing singing, her eyes keep glancing to the pair who were now pressed close, whispering into each other's ears.)

(Her eyes wandered to where most of the Peakys sat, all eyes on her apart from Tommy, who was glaring at where his aunt was dancing, sipping at his whiskey)
