Roles reversed

Nat walked through the portal that Strange had opened and her eyes immediately searched the field for her fiancé but instead found the ruins of what she assumed was the Avengers compound. Nat walked next to Steve and nudged his shoulder, "The hell happened here soldier boy?" Steve just shakes his head as he looks at all of the aliens running towards them, "That's a story for another time Ms. Romanoff."

"It's Mrs. Romanoff to you. By the way where is Wanda?" Steve shakes his head again as he looks at Nat, "She's... Not here at the moment." Nat looks at Steve confused before he shouts Avengers Assemble and everyone charges at all of the aliens.

During the battle Nat found herself near Clint and decided to greet him by quickly slapping him on the back of his head while smirking, "That's what you get for becoming an assassin." Clint just looks at Nat with a sad expression, "What's wrong Clint?" Clint just looks down and tries not to cry, "I'm sorry Nat. I should've jumped instead of Wanda. Wanda's dead because of me." Nat stares at Clint with a broken expression as a tear runs down her face. "She's dead?" Clint nods as Nat wipes her tears, "I'm gonna go see if that glowing lady needs help."

Thanos had gotten the stones and everyone was attacking him and trying to get them away from him. Nat currently had the glove that Tony made and she was supposed to hand it off to Tony but decided not to. She jumped on Thanos' arm that had the glove on it and discreetly grabbed the stones and placed them on the glove. "You can't stop me. I'm inevitable." Thanos snapped but the only thing that could be heard is the metal of the glove clicking together. "You may be inevitable, but I'm your worst nightmare. I'm... Natasha... Romanoff." Nat snapped her hand and felt her right side of her body burn and go limp. Nat dropped onto a rock nearby as she watched Thanos and his army float away in dust particles into the sky.

She felt herself get more weak as all the Avengers started surrounding her. Clint and Peter kneeled in front of her and put a hand on both of her shoulders, "You can rest now мама паук." Peter said as he cried and kissed her forehead. "Yeah. You saved everyone Nat. We can never repay you." Clint said as he stood up and Tony taking his place, "It should've been me Nat. You knew that." Nat slightly turned her head towards Tony and smiled lightly. Tony grabbed her hand and sqeezed it. "I'll make sure Morgan knows all about her auntie Tasha." Tony smiled sadly before he felt Nat's hand go limp in his.

Nat didn't remember much but she heard Tony's voice fade out as she looked around and saw herself in a white void. "Hello? Did I die or something?" Nat walked around while trying to see if she could find anyone. Nat heard a whooshing behind her and immediately went into a fighting stance as she slowly turned around. "Tasha?" Wanda said as she put her hand over her mouth while crying. Nat immediately got out of her fighting stance and hugged Wanda tightly. "What were you thinking? Grabbing the glove like that and sacrificing yourself." Wanda said as she pulled out of the hug and slapped Nat's arm. Nat rolled her eyes as Wanda started walking away. "Where are we exactly?" Nat asked as she followed Wanda. "We're in heaven silly. We may have killed people but our major sacrifaces balanced it out I guess."

Nat smiled at Wanda and grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to her, "I missed you. Even though I literally learned about your death 10 minutes before my sacrifice." Wanda smiles and kisses Nat "I've been missing you for 5 years. So get on my level." Nat chuckles as she hears the whooshing again. "Hey! Hands off my sister." Pietro says as he pulls Wanda away from Nat. "That's not fair! She's my Fiancé!" Nat grabs Wanda's hand again and wraps her arms around Wanda protectively as Wanda laughs, "At least you two are getting along."

Suddenly a flashing light appears and Steve is standing there. "Well well well, you couldn't have gone away longer without me?" Nat says as she let's go of Wanda and walks over to Steve. "Well, you were the only thing holding the Avengers together when we were first assembled." Steve smiles as he hugs Nat. "Nice to see you again Soldier Boy. You're the best man at my wedding now." Nat and Steve laugh as they walk towards Wanda and Pietro.

"What are we waiting for? We have a wedding to plan!!" Pietro says as she picks Wanda up and runs off. "Carry me Steve." Nat says as Steve rolls his eyes. "Hurry up and get on my back." Nat jumps on Steve's as Pietro returns and runs circles around Steve and Nat. This is our family now Nat thinks to as she watches Pietro's blue trail and hears Wanda's giggles run around them. Glad to hear your already warming up to my annoying brother. Nat heard Wanda's voice in her head and immediately smiles and blushes as she continues watching Pietro run around, "If you drop her Pietro, I will kill you again. Even if your already dead."
