MYSTERY IS A GENRE OF FICTION that follows a crime from the moment it is committed to the moment it is solved. The film that the Classic's Club had watched (made by students from the year up), wasn't particularly a mystery. There was crime, yes so it was part mystery- but in the film, there wasn't a part where the crime was solved, so it didn't really fit the definition.
irisu fuyumi "So? What did you guys think?"
ibara mayaka "If I can be honest, It's pretty clumsy."
irisu fuyumi "I think so too. It was kind of obvious knowing that they didn't have any technical skill."
'That's a bit harsh.'
oreki houtarou "But isn't that okay, for what it is?"
irisu fuyumi "Yes. I think it's good enough for what it is. I think it's okay to indulge a world of self-satisfaction."
oreki & satsuki "Mhm,"
They both said nodding at her statement, not that it was bad not to indulge into it. It's just that they're both the type of people to do so.
irisu fuyumi "I'm not saying that its quality is important. Now, what is the vital issue of this project?"
"The fact that it's not finished?"
irisu fuyumi "Yes. Not even we can be satisfied with that."
The movie was apparently filmed in a specific location, so they only had summer vacation to film. It went as planned, but there was a case--The script. The script is an important aspect to any film or production; without it, then there's just no purpose. The scriptwriter of the film had gotten ill, so she couldn't continue on.
"Are you saying that you want us to take over?"
irisu fuyumi "Oh no, I couldn't ask anything like that. So, getting back to my first question, who do you think the culprit is? Someone watching this should be able to deduce who the culprit is."
'The fact that the film isn't complete isn't helping.'
fukube satoshi "But are there really going to be enough clues included in a script written by an amateur?"
