THERE ARE THESE THINGS CALLED RED HERRINGS in almost all good mystery books. They are false clues that build up tension and throw the reader off track. Satsuki was thinking that there might be some red herrings in the film, she couldn't really remember the movie well enough--but with the script, it really helped.
sawakiguchi misaki "Man, from a publicity standpoint, I'm stuck until this thing has a title. Making up the publicity posters is on hold. I think it's about time we settle this matter of the script."
chitanda eru "I've been wondering, did Hongo-san volunteer to write the script?"
