"Congratulations Grayclaw!" A black and white she-cat purred.
As usual her brother was the center of attention, but it didn't bother her anymore. The white she-cat padded to the warrior's den and began to make a nest. Grayclaw strutted into the warrior's den like he owned the place and made his nest next to where the she-cats were.
Toms. Icefall rolled her eyes. I never want a mate.
"Hey Icefall!" Silvertail meowed. "Welcome to the warrior's den!"
Icefall dipped her head in gratitude. At least someone was paying attention to the white warrior.
The white she-cat had finished her nest when she heard Graystar call a clan meeting.
"Since we have more kits we have extended our territory into the Shadowclan borders! They either cooperate or fight! Now let us celebrate this great victory!" Graystar announced getting a piece of newly caught piece of fresh kill.
Icefall went to get fresh kill, but kept looking around nervously as if Shadowclan was in the bushes ready to strike. She headed over to her friends, but heard a battle cry.
"Shadowclan Attack!" Morningstar yowled.
Grayclaw gruffly pushed into the Medicine Cat Den.
"Stay here," he commanded.
"But I want to help!" Icefall shrieked.
"You're no good at fighting! You'll only get in the way now stay!" Grayclaw meowed rushing head first and attacking anything or one in sight.
Toms always think they're better at fighting then she-cats! Icefall hissed at the thought. I'll show him!
The white she-cat rushed into battle not using claws or teeth, but simply in unbalancing Shadowclan warriors to help her clanmates out. Grayclaw didn't seem to notice the white flash that had help him pin down his opponent, Icefall was relieved.
Icefall saw a tom twice as big as her and leaped trying to unbalance him. But she hadn't realized that he moved and she fell a mouse length in front of him. She hissed in annoyance, but quickly spun around to face her attacker and hissed, to warn him off.
She looked up and matched his gaze, but something about it made her feel uneasy inside, so she didn't attack. A tugging at the back of her mind wanted to impress him, but she snapped back to reality
"Get outta my way!" the white she-cat hissed.
"You're the one who tried to jump on my back!" the larger black tom hissed.
"Well consider yourself lucky I haven't attacked yet!" Icefall lied trying to intimidate him.
"Me lucky! Says the she-cat smaller than me!" the black tom laughed.
"Shut up mouse brain! I've attacked plenty of toms twice your size!" Icefall gloated, even though they were lies.
Just let him get out of my way and I can go back to helping my clanmates. Icefall thought. Just move!
The tom snorted and just backed up.
"Fine, I haven't, I'm a newly made warrior and I don't want to get killed on my first battle," the white she-cat huffed.
"Well why didn't you say so!" the tom exclaimed.
"I may have wanted to impress you," Icefall admitted, thinking it was silly she had just admitted that.
"Why?" He asked
"I don't know," the white furred she-cat admitted. "I just had a really strong feeling that I shouldn't attack you. Just forget it ok. Attack me, kill me, just get it over with!"
