Chapter 5: Meeting "Daddy"

I couldn't hear anything Ethan was saying to Mia and vis versa. When she sat up though she started speaking louder.
"Daddy's coming. we need to go." I heard Mia say.
'McFuckin scuse me...WHO!?'
"Daddy?" Me and Ethan asked at the same time.
"We need to go now!" She grabbed Ethan's hand and started to leave the room when she saw me.
"Y/n..." she sighed looking at me then she smiled and hugged me. I was a bit confused seeing as she was freaking out a second before but shook it off and hugged back.
She let go and started to leave the room without saying another word.
"Where are you taking us?" Ethan asked. He looked over at me to make sure I was close behind. He reached for my hand pulling me closer so I don't fall too far behind.
"Some where safe"
"Are you going to tell us what's going on?"
Ethan started to feel frustrated. I saw Mia glance towards our hands for a second so I pulled my hand away not wanted her to get any ideas.
I cautiously said, "You've been gone for 3 years Mia"
"3 years? Has it really been 3 years?"
She looked dazed for a second before turning around and continue to walk. I followed closely behind her with Ethan behind me.
"What is this place? Who did this to you?"
I know Ethan was really confused at this point because Mia was acting strange. I mean hell I was confused too!
'Hmmm'
I stared at Mia in thought.
'Maybe these people really just drove her insane'
She turned around staring through me right at Ethan.
"Not now. We need to get out of here first."
'Why isn't she answering any of our questions'
I quietly sighed in frustration and turned to look at Ethan. I could see anger written all over his face because he wasn't getting answers so I put my hand out for him to grab.
'Hopefully this will calm him down a bit'
He grabbed my hand and I squeezed it to tell him it's ok. We then continued to follow Mia when she said "I think it's this way"
'You think? You've been here 3 years...you think!?'
She kept looking around like we would be attacked at any moment. I squeezed Ethan's hand again but this time from fear and nervousness.
"Mia we have to talk...that message you sent me-"
"Not me. That wasn't me"
'Why is she freaking out we're here to bring her home wouldn't she be happy?'
"But you did!"
"I didn't!"
I let go of Ethan's hand as they were arguing. The room we were in had a bed that you would see at hospitals with a bunch of gross pink and red bags.
"Just tell me what's going on!"
"I'm telling you everything that I know!"
"We have to go this way"
'She's just going to change subjects like that? Um ok?'
I looked at Ethan with worry. His emotions have changed. He now looked like he was sad and heartbroken.
"Hey, hey"
I grabbed Ethan's face.
"I'm sure that when we get out of here she'll be ok and you two will go back to normal."
"But what if I don't want-"
"Are you guys coming"
I let go of his face.
"Yeah we are" I shouted and started to walk towards her.
"Mia are you sure you know where you're going" I whispered hoping that me asking wouldn't make her upset.
"The family used to bring me food through here. I remember"
We slid between a shelf and the wall to get to the other side. I really did hope we were almost out of this shit hole. We walked down the hall then Mia exclaimed,
"There! It's there!"
"Oh thank god"
I could see Ethan smile at what I said. Then when Mia opened the door she FREAKED out.
"It's gone!! ITS GONE!!"
Ethan started to walk up to her when she said,
"We're going to be a family now that you two are here"
'Ummm HUH?'
Then she kept mumbling some things about another door. Ethan went to sit her down and comfort her while I went into the room next to us. But before walking into it I saw a picture that said 'E-001' with a picture of an old woman.
'Weird'
Ethan came up to me a few minutes later.
"What the hell is happening here?"
I said while holding up a Mia doll, "this family or who ever lives her has some serious issues!"
"I know. I know."
Ethan sighed and walked to another doll that was on the shelf.
"AHHH"
"MIA!" We both shouted.
There was a giant hole in the wall but no Mia.
"Where did she go?"
I asked cautiously while walking into the next room. I saw stair and ran straight for them Ethan following me.
"Finally out of that damned basement!! But wait...wasn't it like sunny and morning when we got here? How is it already night there's no way we were down there that long."
Ethan looked just as confused as me but brushed it off as he walked to the phone trying it.
"It doesn't work" he turned to me with a frown.
"It's ok I'm sure we can get out of her let's look around maybe we'll find Mia"
I walked past him and walked into a bathroom.
'Hmmm first aid liquids? What?'
"Hey take one of these"
I tossed one to Ethan and took the other. Then I whipped my head around hearing a knocking sound.
"Um"
Ethan walked out the room and towards the door we just came out.
"Ethan I don't know if that's a smart thing to do"
"What if it's Mia?"
I sighed, nodding and followed him towards the door. He opened it and started to walk it. I heard this strange noise and then Ethan was thrown into me.
As fast as he was pushed into me he was pulled off me and thrown down the hall.
"What the hell!" I yelled.
This sickly looking person ran at Ethan and tried to stab him. I ran up behind her trying to stop her but she turned towards me.
"Mia?"
She laughed and threw me back the way I came.
'Ow'
I rubbed my head and I saw her stab Ethan through the hand and then through and shoulder.
"Ethan!!" I got up and ran towards then and when I got there Mia was hitting her head in the wall talking about how she deserves this and how she's been bad. She fell over.
"Ethan are you ok!?"
I ran around her and up to him using that first aid goop on his hand. He lifted it up and I stared at it in shock.
"How...how is the hole gone?"
"I...don't...I don't know"
He looked me in the eyes then noticed some blood on my head.
"Are you ok?"
"Uh yeah, yeah I'm fine"
"We need to get out of here"
"I know"
I grabbed his hand and walked towards the door but it was locked.
'Ohhh I really don't want to walk past Mia'
I looked over my shoulder and slowly walked towards Mia. I started to walk around her but she stood up, grabbed me and Ethan by the collar and throwing us through the wall.
"Ugh"
Mia went straight for Ethan but he grabbed an ax and started to fight her. Eventually he stabbed her and she went down.
"I'm so sorry Mia...I love you but-" he turned his head away from her.
"E, she was about to kill you-you were protecting yourself." I put a hand on his shoulder on my way out the room.
"You're right"
He followed me out as the phone rang. Ethan picked it up but I could only hear what he was saying. I asked what was going on and he said a woman named Zoe called and was telling him we shouldn't have come here and that there is a way out of here through the attic. I nodded and was about to turn around when all the sudden we heard a noise. Quickly turning this time we saw nothing. We creeped forward and saw Mia was missing from the spot we left her.
"Oh no"
I turned the corner and tried the door seeing that it was unlocked. I pushed it open backing up a bit so I wouldn't be hit.
"No one....where did Mia go?"
We walked out and I realised where we were.
"Ethan let's go open the cabinet by the kitchen maybe it had that fuse we needed in the living room."
"Yeah ok."
I started walking but Ethan quickly grabbed my hand and started to lead the way. I stared at his back blushing but ignored it and followed.

I was right the fuse was there but now we have an issue. Mia stabbed a screw driver through Ethan's hand and I was currently trying to help him get it out.
Suddenly I heard a engine starting up. I looked to my right and saw Mia grabbed a chainsaw and was walking towards us. I pulled the screw driver out and Ethan pushed me to the side as he lifted his arm to block being hit in the face.
"Ahhhhh"
I saw Ethan's hand get cut off and then Mia walk away.
"Ethan, Ethan!! Oh my god!!"
I ran over to him holding his arm looking for a cloth. I remember I had a first aid thing with me and gave it to him. He splashed it all over his arm and then it just....stopped bleeding.
"What"
I stared at it amazing as I grabbed his hand and gave it to him.
"Um I don't know if we will need this later but...here"
He put it in his pocket and started to walk but was swaying so I quickly wrapped his arm around me. I pushed the button to go to up into the attic.

We looked in a few rooms and found 2 guns one for me and one for Ethan.
"How are you going to reload that?"
"Umm I'll figure it out when we get there"
"Ok"
We continued walking and finding bullets until I saw a ladder.
"Let's go" I went up first since I wasn't missing limbs and had a batter chance of protecting us if something were to be on the other side. But I stopped when I heard a chainsaw and jumped off running to the other side of the room dragging Ethan with me. Mia jumped out and started coming at us with the chainsaw again.
"What the hell is with the chainsaw!?"
Obviously I was pretty pissed at this point. I knew something bad was going to happen and I was right.
We were shooting at Mia when she finally stopped moving.
"I love you" she said as she fell over. I turned around to leave but was punched in the face. I fell harshly to the floor. I turned my head to see Ethan punched too. The man looked at us.
"Welcome to the family heheheeee"
Then he kicked Ethan in the face, doing the same to me right after.
