You Missed it

Noah's POV: after the night of getting settled in everyone separated into the separate rooms Delilah was out so we didn't have to deal with her. Me and Dixie wanted to go get a few drinks so we went to go ask char if she would everyone once in a while walk in and make sure she was still sleeping. We weren't really worried about something happening to her as the boat was almost cleared because everyone was resting on their rooms or sleeping. When we walked over next door to chars room we knocked and there as no answer. Dixie had a extra key to everyone rooms as the did to ours just in case. When dixie opened chars room it was empty. Dixie started to panic a bit I reminded her that this is a cruise and charli is a 20 year old responsible woman and that she would be fine. Dixie insisted on going to a least look for her still picking up our drinks dixie was stubborn so their was no way talking her out of this one so I agreed instead we ask addi to check in on Delilah and she said she would every 20 minutes her room was also next to ours so she could hear if Delilah cried or shouted we thanked her and began walking to check out the boat and simply find char or so we thought m.

We walked to the nearest bar and got me and Dixies first drink she then said laughing at how crazy our life was and she made a good point we dated in high school all the way up to the very beginning of having our own business, then she cheats on me, raises my child that I never knew, the brought my child and her back after she ran away. We had been through literal hell and we can back. We had been through our first drink and no sight of charli, so we went to our second bar had another drink and then left because there was no charli. We decided that was the last of our drinks as Dixie was a bit tipsy. We walked around a couple more bars and restaurants. After hours of looking it was 11 pm and we were walking from a far restaurant back to our room as we passed a side pool as there was many we saw charli and the same guy from earlier when we had dinner. Charli was like a sister to me as she would one day be my sister in law but even before that when dixie left I was there when she went through all of those fuck boys during high school I had been there. Charli still had some hatred towards Dixie as she was supposed to be the big sister but she left everyone and everything I think charli and addi got it worst besides me. Bryce still kept close touch with Dixie he forces his way through her closed doors and they were fine through all of it and me and Bryce were too Bryce was my best friend and we were very close as well as Bryce and Dixie he had nothing to loose because he was not a person to give up. Blake was the business man even though I got the family business I honestly have no clue why I got it as I was the youngest, but I was proud of what my dad last down and I was proud of what me and Blake were doing. Even though I had family, do Blake got most of the credit he had his girlfriend Amelie but she was a photographer so there work was also enjoyable. Addi lost her best friend when we split, dixie didn't talk to any of us we all know that but addi was going through a very hard time. Bryce Was being a idiot and messing with other girls and addi room it hard she was also going through a lot she had a couple pregnancies scares and had a miscarriage and Dixie wasn't there for any of it. Dixie could have been there for anyone else and still avoided me if that's what she wanted but she blocked everyone out. Charli had it as tough as addi she was going through high school with means girls, fuckboys, and life. Her big sister the one that could really understand her wasn't really there. I understood completely I just hoped that all the anger that built inside of Charli and Addi would one day explode and I would have to choose their sides because it was Dixies fault even though it kills me to say. When we say them they were rather close charli was my little sister I liked to say it boiled my blood because I remember her crying those nights in my arms do to stupid kids breaking her heart and me just wanting to kill them but she just met this dude and she was laughing and smiling more than I have seen in a while. I held dixie back from yelling as we walked over charli stopped dead in her conversation said "hey...guys what are y'all doing here," she shuttered in fear. I gave her my soft smile and she calmed down I spoke before dixie could "we wanted to tell you goodnight," Dixie then said fast as she was angry "no we wanted you to watch Delilah so we could be normal people and go get a couple drinks and we have been looking for you for 3 fucking hours why the hell where you out here," I knew this was the collision or the beginning of all the bad things that would come charli got tense and said nicely "dixie I'm 20 I don't know if you forgot or you just missed it but I'm not 15 anymore," Dixie was taken back by charlis words but still shot back "what the hell is that supposed to mean," charli then spoke out changing her position in the water to directly look at me "noah pls take her back to the room I at least want to explain to chase what has happened I'm my life," she gave me a apologetic smile and I nodded thinking that was best "yes perfect idea char goodnight y'all. Love you char stay safe nice kinda meeting you chase," chase laughed at my comment and I smiled his laughed sounded like charlis but in a boy version. Charli said "love you too noah, bye dixie," dixie said "bye char make sure to bring your little boyfriend to our dinner tmr," Dixie said it in a bit by voice and sarcastic. Charli then looked at Dixie and said "dixie look at me," Dixie turned around and charli flipped her off and Dixie did the same. Me and Dixie walked back to our room her being mad and cursing the whole time we knocked on Addis door and told her we were back  she noticed dixie looking on edge and tense and soon asked dixie why she looked mad and Dixie said we will tell you tmr at dinner. We went into our room Delilah still sound asleep we locked the door and walked into our bedroom we laid down I calmed dixie down and we fell asleep I could only imagine the damage tmr would cause.
