Chapter 11

I woke up the next day still in my clothes yesterday. I was tired and sleepy to even change my clothes. Bagsak talaga ako ng ihatid ako ni Huge dito sa kwarto. I went downstairs after taking a bath. Maganda ang gising ko today.

"Kumusta ang pakiramdam mo Seven?" Manay Linda immediately went to me and touches my forehead and neck using the back of her hand. I smiled thinking about what happened last night.

"I'm fine Manay, really." I said, still smiling. Umupo ako kung saan ako palaging nakaupo kapag kumakain ako. I only eat here during breakfast and dinner. I usually eat lunch in barn house with Eugene, of course.

I haven't talked to my parents. The last was when they told me that they will extend their stay in Manila. It's almost the end of the month kaya kailangan ko ng mag enrol but of course I have to ask Dad first maybe I am already enrolled hindi ko lang alam.

I'm currently at the front of the house sitting at the last stance of the stairs wearing my pajamas and bunny headband. I'm holding my phone while feeling the night breeze. Sobrang tahimik na. The moon and the stars are my lights and oh, the chandelier where I am in pa pala.

Pasado alas onse na ng gabi. Tulog na ang mga kasambahay at tauhan namin. Gusto ko lang magpahangin.

"Hey, malamig dito." I almost jump when I heard his voice. He then puts a jacket on me. I took a glance on him and then smiled.

I didn't see him the whole day. Nasa ubasan kasi siya at nagmamando ng mga tauhan kung saan ilalagay ang mga ginawang kubo. Dad really sees potential in him. Siya na nga yata ang tumatayong kanang kamay ni Daddy dito sa taniman. So maybe Dad won't get mad at me because he admires this guy.

"Anong iniisip mo?" tanong niya. I felt his hand brushing the other side of my shoulder

"Nothing, I'm just thinking if in-enroll na ba ako ni Daddy," I said then look at the moon and stars above baka hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili ko at maglaway ako kakatitig sa kanya.

"Ba't hindi mo itanong?"

"I'm afraid," he looks at me, wondering. Nakakapagtaka ba na natatakot ako magtanong kung enrolled na ba ako o hindi?

"Itatanong mo lang naman kung enrolled ka na e, it's not like you'll gonna ask for his permission to get married," he chuckled.

He's ridiculous. Yeah, who thinks of marriage when we are just in a relationship for almost a month? I didn't even know him thoroughly and vice versa.

"Really? Damn marriage?" I laugh. Ipinatong niya ang libreng kamay sa hita niya at nagsalumbaba. A playful smile flashes on his face. Damn attractive!

"Yeah, maybe after I graduated college?" he asked. Is he serious?

"Are you serious?" The fun I had earlier already vanished. His smile became a line. His forehead creased.
