"Newt makes me happy" I said to Thomas who was sat beside me at the bonfire. We were celebrating the arrival of the new greenie who Chuck was in charge of. The new greenies name was hope and she was only 8 years old so I was a bit sceptic of only Chuck caring for her but then again he is 14 now so he needs something to be responsible for. Thomas is my best friend I tell him and his girlfriend Teresa and Minho and Newt everything but this was the one thing I kept secret.. I couldn't risk newt finding out. It's been almost 2 years and I'm still in love with Newt. "What? D-do you like Newt y/n? Like yano like like him?" Thomas asked getting visibly excited "huh? Who?" I asked pretending to play dumb."NEWT YOU SLINTHEAD" just as he said that Teresa walked over "who's a slinthead and why?" She asked "y/n and cause I think she's keeping a secret from us!" Thomas said "what kind of secret" Teresa smiled back in reply "I think she has a crush on newt" Thomas said proudly "what about me?" I heard a British accent then looked up and seen the tall blonde haired glader."NOTHING" I yelled quickly as Thomas opened his mouth"doesn't sound like nothing?" Newt laughed back
