((JeffxBENLover here…again. I would like to dedicate this chapter to @supermegawholock for guessing that there would be some CronKri in here. You sly dog you~))

Well, during those few chapters, Kankri had walked off. He’s a badass, and he does this very often. What he does is a mystery to the others. Usually he gets more food, or even some other things that would be helpful. He was lucky whenever he found bullets or new guns. Walking into an old apartment, he looked up at it. Its location was just outside of the forest area, in what appeared to be an abandon parking lot. There was one lamppost, the light long gone and shattered. He walked up to the door, pushing it open. Stepping inside, the door slammed shut. It echoed through the room, Kankri taking a small sigh. He reached the stairs, placing his hand on the rundown rail and took every step with caution. As his hand glided against the rail, the paint chipped off every now and then. The stair steps creaked lightly, gradually getting louder as he continued.

He made it to the top floor, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a key. Opening the door, he made sure no one else was here. When it seemed so, he closed the door behind him, locking it and leaning against the wood. He closed his eyes, taking a step away and continuing to walk to a small desk on one side of the room. Sitting down, he opened his journal that he kept. Taking a pen, he jolted some more things onto the paper. Each word he wrote was going to be helpful to his team, long after he was gone. What the journal explained was how to keep the demons away, as well as kill them. Like, an instruction manual on how to defeat demons.

He stopped writing after a few paragraphs, looking through the huge-ass window. It was about the size of the wall, and for a reason. Leaning back in his chair, he let out a sigh.

 “Vwell, y’seem exhausted~”

Kankri’s eyes darted back to the window, knowing that thick accent far too well. He had a thick leather jacket, plenty of chains around his black jeans; his dark shoes leaned against the side of the window as he stood. Slicking back his hair, he grinned and his cigarette was on the verge of falling from his mouth. As his dark violet eyes glistened, Kankri stood and walked over to the perched demon.

“9h Cr9nus, y9u have n9 idea…My mem6ers are just dr9pping like flies.” He crossed his arms, giving Cronus an irritated look. The demon chuckled; stepping away from the window and making Kankri take a step back.

“Hawve y’started to accept th’fact that you’re a demon yet?” Cronus shrugged, placing a hand on his right arm and raising that hand up, in a questioning pose. Kankri shook his head.

“I haven’t 6een killing them…Yet. I plan t9 stay l9yal t9 them, and n9t j9in in y9ur little gang 9f killers.” He huffed, turning back to his desk. Placing a hand on the journal, he felt a small gust of wind behind him. Another hand was placed on his, the fingers curling around his palm and getting pulled behind him. Turning around, he was face to face with Cronus, having a small look of concern.

“Kanny, if y’keep forcin’ y’self not t’eat, you’re gonna go ballistic. Y’understand that, right?” With those words, Kankri took a deep breath. Biting his lip and nodding, Cronus slithered his other hand around Kankri’s waist. The smaller troll jumped slightly, a bit shocked at the embrace, but let him do so. He turned his head to the side, closing his eyes and speaking softly.

“I understand perfectly. Y9u kn9w I 9nly turned int9 a dem9n 6ecause I didn’t want t9 leave y9u.” Cronus smiled softly, taking his cigarette out of his mouth and placing it behind his ear fin, moving his hand back to Kankri’s waist. “I just l9ve y9u t99 much, I guess.” Kankri chuckled as Cronus kissed his cheek a few times.

“I lowve y’just as much~.” He spoke lightly, backing up and looking at the mutant blood. Kankri trailed his free hand up Cronus’ chest, wrapping his arm around his neck and pulling him into a lovely kiss. As you can tell, their love has never changed for each other. They pulled back, Cronus resting his head on the others. Kankri hummed, their chests pressed together and they held hands.

“Oh, here. I found this. Thought it might be important t’you.” Cronus leaned back, reaching behind him and pulling out two needles. They were pink with black ribbon wrapped around it, skulls at the ends of them. Taking them, Kankri put them inside his jacket pocket.

“Th9se were Ms. Lal9nd’s. Where did y9u find them?”

“In t’middle of a small circle area. Wvery strange.” He cocked a brow, not really sure what they were in the first place. Kankri gasped a bit, catching himself and clearing his throat.

“I wouldn’t kn9w 9f such a place…” He looked outside the window, the sun rising and he turns back to Cronus. “You should leave, 6ef9re y9ur little ‘gr9up’ gets suspici9us.” With a nod, Cronus went back to the window. Before he could leave, Kankri pulled on his hand and made Cronus stumble. He was pulled into a loving kiss, smiling and pulling back just a bit.

 “See you t’morrovw~”

“G99dnight, Cr9nus.”

He went back to the window, jumping out and landing on the ground below. Dashing into the thick forest, Kankri stood where Cronus did, leaning against one side and smiled.

That damn greaser.
