Double Dates and Coupling Up

I get out of bed about 30 minutes after the lights have turned on, so I think it'll be around 8.30-9am. I roll over and sit up a bit and see that a few people have already left the bedroom.

"How is it you look so adorable when you sleep?" Erin asks, coming and giving me a hug. I blush and smile at the complement.

I get up, make my bed and grab a hoodie before heading out to the kitchen for some breakfast. I make myself a fruit bowl and coffee and sit down with Millie and Cass.

"Do you guys mind me sitting here, or is it a private convo?" I ask quietly, not wanting to intrude.

"No it's alright," Cass says, before starting the conversation again. "I kind of hate that it happened so soon, like we didn't have sex."

I deduce that they're talking about her and Grant getting handsy last night, as did Erin and Eden I'm guessing as they're the only two couples that are more than friends right now.

"Hey don't even stress about it," Millie comforts.

"I care too much about what other people think," Cass confesses.

"I do this on the outside, where like I might sleep with a guy really quickly and then be like 'why did I do that, now I feel shit', but then I think back to it and I wanted to do that at the time," Millie offers.

"Yeah I've done that too. At the time, you guys wanted to do it, but it's completely normal to wanna slow down a little bit, like it's day 3, and establish more of a connection without sex," I advise, and both girls nod in understanding.

"If it's what you wanna do, you're only human," Millie adds.

Millie and I come in for a little group hug with Cass and she heads off to go chat with her man, leaving me and Mill enjoying our coffees.

"Have you thought about who you're gonna take on the dates today?" she asks me.

"A little bit, but at the same time I don't wanna step on someone's toes, and I'm not interested in any of the guys as any more than friends. But if I had to choose two, I'd pick Eden, purely because he's funny and we'd have a laugh, but also because I feel like he'd be honest about shit. Boy number two I think would be Justin, for the same reasons and I feel like we could have good chats," I tell her and she nods.

"Might wanna give Erin a heads up so she doesn't go crazy about it, otherwise it'll be world war three in here," she advises me, and I nod.

"I'll tell her after I've had my coffee and gotten ready.

I get dressed and do my hair and makeup, leaving the hair naturally but off to one side, and a little bit smokey on the eyes, and head back out to join everyone mulling around the pool, moving towards Erin, Charlie and Josh, as the boys put sunscreen on each other and joke around.

"Work it baby work it," Erin chuckles, and I laugh as the boys play into it.

"Erin can I chat to you for a sec," I ask quietly.

"Yeah no problem," she mumbles and we go sit on one of the day beds.

"So I just wanna give you a heads up I was planning to take Eden on one of the dates, but purely platonically, I have no interest in pinching him from you. I just think he'll give me honest input and we'll have a laugh. Is that okay with you?"

I watch her face initially harden up but relief slips in when I tell her I'm not interested in him.

"Yeah no worries, thank you for telling me though, I really appreciate it. You're a good chick," she responds, giving me a bright smile knowing I'm not a threat to her relationship. We have a hug and then go off in different directions, her to where the other girls are working out and me to join Grant, Charlie and Josh on the pool chairs.
