John and I are sat in the bedroom chatting with Grant and Tayla while Josh is rifling through his draws when Grant gets his attention.

"Hey mate, I just thought you should know that Dom said his type is blonde hair and blue eyes, aka Cass," Grant tells him.

"God, if that's not competing with me I don't know what is?" He laughs, trying to brush it off. "Is there no one else?" He exclaims dramatically making us chuckle.

"But he does like you bro, he respects you so if he's gonna step on your toes, he'll go the right way about it," Grant reassures him.

"That's good at least, he's not just gonna come in here and be a dick about it," John adds in.

"Joshy, between you and me if I couldn't have John and it was between you and Dom, he wouldn't have a chance," I smile at him and he comes and fist bumps me.

"I knew I liked you for a reason!" he cheers, making us laugh.

"And if she gives you up for something as superficial as height, something tells me she's not gonna like the outcome she gets," I continue.

"Well it's a well known fact by now that you're psychic so at least I can have comfort in that," Josh smiles.

"And if she does give you up, I'm telling you the right person is gonna come in here and have you wrapped around her finger within an hour," I promise him.

"I'm holding you to that Lex," he points at me as he exits the room.

"I swear to god if this comes true like everything else, you should join a circus, cos there's no way for you to predict something like that," Tayla says, and the boys both nod.

"Gotta make sure everyone knows that the mum of the villa knows best," I snicker, wiggling my eyebrows at them and making them all laugh.

I ended up putting my denim shorts on and now I'm outside talking to Millie and Tayla on the couch.

"I think Dom is really hot," Millie tells us. "Tall, blonde."

"Is he your type?" Tayla asks her. "Cos he is a tradie, kinda."

"Yeah, he is. Yeah but he doesn't get his hands dirty," Millie says.

"Honestly, I think you two would be a better fit than him and Cass. Only reason Cass is making a fuss is cos of the height, which is so superficial and ridiculous," I tell her.

"I know, like height is such a small thing when you think about all the other qualities you want in a partner. Looks fade away after a certain point, and you need a mental and emotional connection as well," Millie agrees.

"Anyway, Dom seems like he's alright, but his attention span is zilch," Millie admits.

"Mate, so is yours," Tayla and I tell her, and both start giggling as we high five each other.

"Yeah you're not wrong, but don't expose me like that," she smiles, poking us both.

"Besides, it's his first day. It hasn't even been like 2 hours and he's still getting to know everyone," Tayla reminds her. "I think he's just super overwhelmed right now, and he will mellow out by the time we go to bed, so don't even worry."

"He seems pretty nice, and he said that out of everyone he'd take me on a date, which was nice to hear," Millie says, starting to smile.

"I don't think I've seen you smile like this and get this giddy over a guy the entire time, not even Tarzan," I tell her, happy that she's hopefully getting somewhere.
