Francoise and I get up earlier than everyone else, and end up being awake to watch the sunrise. We get ourselves some coffee and head up to the balcony to watch from there with blankets wrapped around ourselves as we sprawl out on both couches.

"I don't think I'll ever get sick of this," I say gently, and Francoise hums in agreement.

We get to know each other better and both of us can sense a beautiful friendship blossoming.

"You're so much more mature than everyone here, it's insane. Although I guess being a mum, you grow up a lot quicker. Kim's kind of the same but not on the same level. If I didn't know better I'd think you were my age," Francoise comments.

"I mean yeah, having a kid definitely means I've grown up a lot and matured, but apparently I've always been that way as well, which is why I prefer guys a few years older because they have the maturity level I look for in a partner," I respond.

After another 30 minutes we head downstairs to have some food, and she goes off to chat with Tayla and Millie on the comfy daybed, and I sit over in the firepit by myself, enjoying the quiet and drama free moment. I see John groggily wander outside, get himself a coffee and he comes over once he spots me.

"Morning babe," he says, voice even deeper than normal, turning me on a bit.

"Morning sleeping beauty," I smile, pecking him on the lips when he plonks himself next to me. "Your hair looks like you stuck your finger in a socket," I giggle, making him smile.

"Well, as I remember it, you were running your hands through my hair during the night," he smirks, making me blush. I finish up my breakfast and place the bowl off to the side, curling into his side.

He puts his mug down to the side and pulls me into his lap making me squeal slightly. He kisses me shortly but passionately.

"Last night is the best sleep I've ever had, hands down," I mumble bashfully.

"Tell me about it, I feel so relaxed and well rested, Tarzan will be so jealous," he chuckles, making me laugh.

"I'm so used to waking up constantly during the night, and I think I woke up twice max. Also your snoring was a lot less and much quieter last night, I noticed. When you were sharing with ex-hubby over there," I point to Elias backflipping in the pool, "you'd snore all night like a chainsaw and looked like you'd slept an hour," I tell him, and he nods.

"I can feel the difference, and my throat doesn't feel so sore today, which is nice. I think the snoring habit picked up in high school cos I couldn't sleep till like 3am and then it was never good sleep, but last night was amazing," he tells me.

"Well I'm honoured I can fix your sleeping issues," I giggle, and he smiles, kissing my cheek and holding me tight.

"I got a text!" Erin cries from next to me, startling me to where I almost slide of the flamingo floatie, flailing around for a bit before finding my balance.

"You right Lex?" Erin and Eden chuckle, Erin holding her hand out in case I need stabilising. Once I nod in confirmation, we wait for the others to gather around so she can read it out.

"Islanders, it's time for today's challenge. Freshen your breath, do your tongue exercises and prepare for PashTag!"

Immediately, everyone's oohing and getting rowdy for the kissing game. John comes over to me and helps me out of the pool.
