Chapter 2

Lee Soo Hyuk had covered the cintamani with the white cloth and sat on one of the sofas. Choi Jung Soo put three cups of coffee on the table before he and Kim Rok Soo settled on the seats as well. They would usually do this after they talked with Kim Rok Soo using the cintamani. If there's nothing dangerous occasions that require the three of them to go out. If ever they are needed, Jin Tae or Heo Sook Ja would inform them. 

"I guess everything's fine over there, we all just need to prepare for ours then," Kim Rok Soo said while holding the cup with both of his hands. It was weird to call someone by your name but still, Kim Rok Soo being Kim Rok Soo, didn't ponder much about it and just accept it as a fact. 

"Yeah, I guess we really need to prepare for the worse." Jung Soo said and sip on his coffee. According to Kim Rok Soo, after seeing the Cale's memories, he already has the idea of how they can defeat unranked monsters, as well as other significantly stronger ones that would appear in the future. Although they don't have the data about the other two unranked monsters, they had at least witnessed how Cale and the others battle the Lion Dragon. 

"That's right... We need to give it our best huh? It would've been good if we also have those individuals here," Lee Soo Hyuk jokingly attach the last sentence, pertaining to Cale and Cale's party. Although his slight joke would soon result in Cale and the other's appearing at the ceiling of his room, he's not to blame. 

And so, after Lee Soo Hyuk said that mindless joke, a blinding light appeared out of nowhere making him, Jung Soo and Rok Soo close their eyes. That lasted for a few seconds but what they witnessed the second their eyes opened are people with peculiarly beautiful appearances and dressed in aristocratic clothing you'll see in history books falling from the ceiling and soon landed on the floor with a loud thud.

And this is their situation right now. 

"After I put the cintamani on the table, it glowed and here we are," Cale just summarized the whole situation in that single sentence, sitting on the sofa with Eruhaben and Rosalyn. The others, Ron and Beacrox are standing at the back with Bud, Lock and Mary, silently observing the three people in front of them. The first thing they realize is that the three and Choi Han has similarities, with their black hairs and black eyes. They were curious but kept the questions to themselves for now. They can always ask later. 

They also kept quiet and watch Cale converse with the three. Of course, they noticed how Cale's comfortably speaking with them, although Lock and Raon knew about the relationship between the three because Cale did say that they are the persons who were with him when he's in the sealed god's test, they are still curious what happened while Cale's here that it resulted to this close relationship. 

"We didn't quite know how this happened as well, but I do have an idea that the God of Death is the one who's doing this," Cale's face distorted into a frown. 

Lee Soo Hyuk could only smile while looking at Cale's frowning face. The redhead he's been talking to inside the orb was now in front of him. It was weird seeing Rok Soo in this form but still, he's happy to see him. Although he didn't expect to see the others too, considering how they only saw them through the orb and watch them fight, he just stayed quiet and only observe the others. 

It was quite a sight, to be honest. The variety of colours that are inside his monochromatic coloured office stuck up like a sore thumb. In addition, each person was dressed in very unique clothing with all the gold threads and some gems embedded on it, not to mention how each of them are beautiful. Although the most attention-grabbing among them is the little black dragon who's in the middle of two cats with golden eyes, looking at them with curiosity.
