Chapter 12

The watchtower was dead silent after they heard what their commander just said. 

"Make sure to bring the best booze... I only like the best after all."

They stared with dead eyes towards the skinny young man who haven't even reached the age of 20's yet, and here, talking about booze and drinking, right in the middle of a battlefield.

Even Kim Rok Soo can't say anything after hearing that. 

This man is the same as him. He was the Kim Rok Soo of this world, that's why he know very well that they have parallel similarities, but he never had thought that Cale will say that. 

This was the first time that this world's teenage Kim Rok Soo was shaken. He was speechless that he wanted to take over the body just so Cale won't say something inappropriate for this body's age.

Cale didn't mind their reaction that much as he walked closer to the edge of the watchtower and looked down at the figure that was walking slowly while dragging the head of the monster he just slew. The decapitated head that was dragged across the cracked and rough road created a trail of black blood as the battlefield turned silent.

Cale ignored the two ancient powers that were bickering as his cold eyes met with a pair of black iris. The youthful look of his team leader imprinted itself in Cale's mind and was overwhelmed that at this age, Lee Soo Hyuk already have the same strength as he is when he became the team leader. 

"That look on your face...so disrespectful."

Once Lee Soo Hyuk was close enough, he tossed the head to the side, hitting the sturdy wall of the watchtower producing a loud thud. 

He placed his hand on his waist as he shook his head and sighed, "You don't even welcome your hyung who did his best. You're so cold, Rok Soo."

Alberu and Choi Han both worked hard to suppress the chuckles that keep on wanting to come out while watching this. Although they both still had a look of agreement on their faces and subtly nodded at Lee Soo Hyuk's remarks, Cale ignored them and opened his mouth,

"I don't think that's appropriate to say to your commander."

"...Ha!"

Lee Soo Hyuk can only laugh with amazement while looking up to Cale who has a cold and stoic look on his face. 

"Really. You're really not a cute dongsaeng at all, Rok Soo."

Although he answered back like that, Cale watched Lee Soo Hyuk shake his head with a stunned look on his face as his lips tugged up. He turned his back and began walking to go down the tower.
