The boys were all standing in Sugawara's living room, bags of clothes and other essentials strewn about on the floor or couches. "Leave anything that gives away that you lived here. Kageyama, you know the drill. Use my spare bedroom to change. Hinata, come with me."

Sugawara led the ginger boy into his hall bathroom. "We need to make you look different and fast. Pick a color." He was putting on plastic gloves.

"Orange?"

"Any color besides orange." Suga smiled.

"Um... dark blue." It was Hinata's favorite color. After orange, of course.

"Alright." Sugawara said as he grabbed a black plastic bottle.

---

WIthin the next hour, Hinata's hair was dyed a dark blue and Kageyama looked like a completely different person. Kageyama was wearing an oversized hoodie with ripped jeans, rings all over his hands and chains surrounding his neck. Though what intrigued Hinata the most was that Kageyama had two black studs in his ear lobes, he didn't even know Kageyama had them pierced.

Hinata looked down at the clothes that Sugawara had given to him. A white t-shirt with blue jeans and a light blue button-up that Hinata chose to wear unbuttoned. His hair was still a little damp from dyeing it, so Hinata's usual curls were more like messy waves.

"Alright. Now that everything is done, we can head to the train station." Sugawara grabbed his small backpack and headed towards his front door.

That pulled Hinata from his thoughts enough for the newly blue-haired boy to grab his bag and walk to the door behind the others.

---

The three teenagers were standing in the middle of the train station. Kageyama kept scanning the exits for any signs of danger, Hinata was looking at the floor, and Sugawara was rummaging through his bag to try and find the tickets.

Sugawara was finally able to find the small pieces of paper that he had printed off at his house. He handed them to Kageyama and then pulled out another small piece of paper and a pen. Sugawara quickly wrote an address down, using his leg as a hard surface.

"Once you get off the train, head here. The people there should be able to help." Sugawara handed it to Kageyama.

Hinata looked over at the tickets as Kageyama read the address. "Wait... Tokyo!"

"I have friends there. Don't worry." Sugawara gave Hinata a reassuring smile. "Now, your train is leaving soon. Good luck."

---

"Hey! Wake up!" Kageyama shook Hinata's shoulder as the train got closer to the Tokyo Station. Hinata groggily opened his eyes, wanting to close them again. "We're here."

Hinata and Kageyama both got off the train and started looking around for the address Sugawara had given them. None of the bystanders gave them any mind, though Hinata couldn't help but feel eyes on him.

Kageyama started to walk up the stairs out of the station, though he stopped on the third step when he heard someone behind him.

"Those monsters... poor souls." A woman said. Kageyama turned and saw Hinata standing at the bottom next to an older woman. The two of them were watching a TV screen that was turned to the news.

"Two CCG Investigators Found Dead in Miyagi."

Hinata's eyes were glued to the screen. He didn't even look at the woman when he responded. "My mom lives near there... I hope she's alright."

Kageyama called down to Hinata, thinking of a quick lie that didn't sound too suspicious, "Hey! We need to get back to campus!"

Hinata looked up at him. Kageyama could finally see the pain in his eyes. "Yeah. Let's go."

Hinata walked up the stairs with Kageyama and the two of them entered the streets of Tokyo.

---

"It's okay," Hinata looked up at Kageyama, "You did what you had to."

They were now sitting in a small cafe. It was where Sugawara's note had led them.

"You can say that. Doesn't mean it's true." Hinata just looked back up to the TV showing more of the news report.

"It is true."

"Look. This may be easy for you- but it isn't for me. I've never done... something like that before." Kageyama knew it would be hard for Hinata, but he didn't expect Hinata to completely shut down.

"It takes some getting used to. Trust me, I-" Kageyama wanted to continue but the waiter walked over.

"Alright. What can I get for you two?" Kageyama recognized that voice.

Hinata must've noticed as well, "Kuroo? Oh my gosh, you work here!"

"Hm? Wait... Chibi-chan?" Tetsuro Kuroo was definitely surprised, "Kageyama? What the hell are you two doing in Tokyo? More importantly, what the hell happened to your hair, Hinata?"

"Sugawara sent us." Kageyama said before Hinata could explain his hair.

"Suga... You two are in trouble?" Kuroo put his notepad into one of the many pockets in his apron.

"Depends on your definition of trouble." Kageyama was hesitant to tell Kuroo the truth.

Kuroo looked  around the cafe before showing the two first years his kakugan. Hinata inhaled sharply, "Now, are you two in trouble?"

"Yeah." Kageyama looked around the cafe as well. Weary of the other patrons.

"Well, you might wanna go in the back." Kuroo's eyes went back to normal, he called to the front of the cafe, "Kenma! Can you get me two coffees? Bring them to the lounge!"

"Kenma's here too?!" Hinata's eyes widened as Kuroo led them to the second level of Anteiku.
