"I just can't believe it..." Daichi looked at Sugawara as they drove into Tokyo. Sugawara told his boyfriend who they were going to pick up, "Hinata's family is alive?"

"Yep. Shoyo called Thursday and asked me to help out," Sugawara turned onto another road, leading into the 20th ward. Daichi looked at his boyfriend with shock.

"Why haven't they gone to the police? O- Or why are you going to pick them up? I-"

"Daichi! Daichi! It's fine. They didn't want to bring any attention to it. Natsu and Mrs. Hinata are gonna stay with me until they get back on their feet," Sugawara shrugged as they turned onto another street, "I'm sorry that this is how we're spending our weekend."

"It's fine... It's fine," Daichi looked around the street they were on, "Where are we heading?"

"Remember the cafe Hinata and Kageyama work at?" Sugawara turned into a parking garage and parked in one of the only free spots on the first floor. Sugawara turned the car off and he and his boyfriend headed out into the streets of Tokyo.

---

Hinata knocked on the door three times before calling out, "Hey... It's me... Natsu? Someone is on the way to take you home," There was no response, "Natsu. Can you please open the door?"

Hinata stood there for almost another minute before he heard the lock click open. He opened the door and saw Natsu walking over to her bed. Thankfully, she fit into Hinami's clothes so Natsu was out of her Cochlea uniform and was now wearing a hoodie and jeans.

"Who's going to take me and Mommy?" Natsu asked, putting her feet underneath her blanket. Hinata moved some of Natsu's hair out of her face.

"My old vice captain. Sugawara, remember?" Hinata gave his little sister a smile, "He'll be here soon."

"You're coming with us, right Shoyo?" Natsu looked up at her brother, "You're coming home?"

Hinata looked at the floor, "Uh," Hinata cleared his throat, "I have to stay here for a little while longer, I- I can't go back home just yet."

"When will you be able to come home?"

"Soon. Don't worry I'll-"

"Hey," Kageyama opened the door, "Sugawara's here, Daichi's with him so keep the ghoul talk to a minimum."

Hinata looked from his boyfriend to his little sister, "Are you ready to go?"

---

"Thank you for all of this, Suga," Hinata looked at his former vice captain with a smile. Daichi was helping Natsu and Mrs. Hinata gather their things.

"No problem. I'm the reason you're in this situation in the first place," Sugawara made sure that Daichi couldn't hear him.

"Don't do that to yourself. You should be blaming Remi," Hinata put a hand on Sugawara's shoulder. Sugawara was able to notice the growth in Hinata, most likely due to the surgery. Hinata was now closer to 5'6, only a little shorter than Sugawara.

"I know. I know. We should be heading out, it'll take a while to get home." Sugawara raised his voice so everyone could hear him, "Let's head to the car-"

"Guys! I have big news!" Someone rushed into the cafe, by the orange-blond hair Hinata assumed he was Ken's friend Hide. Hide looked around the cafe after catching his breath, he noticed the two unfamiliar gingers and Daichi, "Who are they?"

"Alright, we'll head out. Daichi?" Sugawara moved towards the door.

"Right," Daichi helped Natsu with her bags. Sugawara looked at Hinata one last time.

"Stay safe."

---

"You're sure?" Kageyama asked. The whole of Anteiku was gathered in the cafe, listening as Hide told them of the CCG's plans to raid the cafe the next day. Kageyama was watching his boyfriend intently, the shorter boy looking off into space.

"Positive," Hide was cradling his cup of water, he had basically ran all the way there from the CCG office, "They're attacking tomorrow night."

"Alright. We will make preparations and prepare for the raid," Yoshimura could tell that everyone was tense. Everyone nodded and they dispersed to all prepare. Kageyama immediately went to talk with Hinata.

"You alright?" Kageyama sat on the stool next to him. Hinata looked over at him, his eyes glazed over.

"When do you think this will end? When we can stop running, stop fighting," Hinata's voice was void of emotion, "I just want to go home, go back to being a decoy blocker, and-" He sighed, "Honestly I miss the days when we had pretty fights over everything."

Kageyama cracked a smirk, "Yeah... Hinata boke."

"Bakayama."

Kageyama took a deep breath and pushed himself off of the stool, "Come on. I know a place."

"Where?" Hinata looked over as Kageyama went towards the door.

"Somewhere. Get your coat, it's supposed to get really cold."

---

The two first years were walking around a small bookstore, Kageyama actively looking at book titles while Hinata's eyes wandered around the store. Kageyama stopped and grabbed a book from the bottom shelf, Hinata looked at the book Kageyama had gotten.

"Really?" Kageyama smirked at his boyfriend's response.

"What? It's fitting," Kageyama handed a copy of 'No Longer Human'  to Hinata, "My gift."

"Never would have thought of you as the type to give gifts," Hinata smiled, looking over the kanji that covered the front page. Hinata followed his boyfriend to the register.

---

The two of them sat inside a park, watching the snowfall, the small particles of ice reflecting in the streetlights. Hinata leaned his head against Kageyama's shoulder and sighed, "I wish we could do this everyday."

Hinata could see Kageyama's breath in the air, "Me too. But... even if we lose everything tomorrow, at least we had this."

"Yeah... I guess you're right."

Kageyama moved so Hinata could look at him, "I love you."

"I love you too." Hinata leaned forward as Kageyama placed a kiss on his lips, "Ya know... if we really do lose everything tomorrow... then let's do everything tonight."
