I S A B E L L A
I jogged down the street and saw two figures walking outside our house. Wait, our house. Shit. James and Liam probably told the others. Good idea to annoy your brothers, Izzy. I face-palmed myself. I looked up again and saw the figures walking around and shouting my name.
"BAMBINA, I swear to god, you are in so much trouble!"
That was Elijah. Yup, I'm dead meat.
Pray for me, Hunter. As they looked in my direction, I sprinted behind a tree. They definitely saw me.
"Sorellina! I know you are here somewhere!" Oh no, Liam.I was already in so much trouble, I couldn't risk getting caught. I looked carefully around and saw that Liam was jogging towards the tree.
Dang it, dang it, dang it.
I have no other choice than running and risk getting seen.
I checked to see if my phone was still in my pocket and ran off. "Hey! Stop right there, or you will get into more trouble than you already are!" Elijah was screaming after me, but I knew he would be out of breath soon. The only person that I was worried about was Liam because he was damn fast.
"Sucks to suck, loser!" I shouted back.I could hear two pairs of footsteps.
One that was incredibly fast, that was probably Liam and one that was kind of, well, still fast but was getting slower and slower.
I now got hold of a lantern and swung around it, my pace wasn't getting slow anytime soon. The metal scratched my hands a little and it made a crunching sound when I came back to my feet."Liam, you go get her. She's just too fast."
"Okay! Got it." Elijah was out of breath and panting behind me. His footsteps were fading and soon gone. One lost, one still to go.
I ran along fences and jumped over cars, Liam doing exactly the same. I saw a forest in front of me, this was my perfect chance to escape."Don't you dare!" Liam called out as if he had just read my mind. We both knew what I was about to do.
This is your chance to show him what you are good at.
"Gotta expect the unexpected!", I shouted again and now ran between trees and jumped over bushes. This was actually really easy.
I still heard Liam behind me, cussing because he sometimes got stuck in the bushes and probably had scratches. His fault.
We now had a good distance between us and I took the time and climbed up a tree as if my life depended on it. The branches weren't really close to each other so it wasn't easy to jump from one to the other. I now sat on one branch and looked at Liam who was currently searching for me. One part of me felt relieved while the other one was still nervous.
He wouldn't climb up the tree, right?
He was now directly under the tree I sat in so I screamed,"Up here, big bro!" I waved at him.
He looked up and I could tell, he was furious.
"Get down here!"
"Do I look like I give a fuck?", I giggled at him.
"You are in so much trouble, bambina."
"And I still don't care. Welp- gotta tell my friend I'm late because you chased after me!" I pulled out my phone and called Hunter, completely ignoring Limas complains and orders."Hey! What's up, I'm already at the mall, where are you?"
"I'm sitting on a tree because my brother here thought it would be cool to chase me!"
I actually screamed the word brother so that Liam could hear, I was annoyed.
"Oh well, you are still coming though, right?"
"Yah! Cya!"I hung up and looked down to Liam.
"Aww, somebody is mad."
"You are so dead when you get home."
"Hehe, I know. Now I will excuse myself because I am going to meet my friend."
"Tell me at least the name of that so called friend of yours."
"Why do you need to know? To beat him up at school?"
"So it's a boy! I'm gonna tell the others!"
