The next night, I was at home when I got a text from Scott saying that Jackson's going to the underground party on Friday.

He also told me to get to the Animal Clinic because we're going to be meeting up with Deaton and Derek.

I drove to the Animal Clinic and Scott let me in. "Is Derek here yet?" I asked.

"No, he said he'll be here soon. Are you guys still not talking?" Scott asked. I sighed sadly as I remembered what happened later that night we helped save Erica.

~Flashback~

Derek and I were sitting on his bed in the subway station. "What happened today with Jackson?" he asked me.

I sighed and looked at him, "You're not gonna like it."

After that, I told him everything. I told him what happened in the locker room, what Jackson said about him and Mateo, and what happened in the library.

When I finished, his jaw was clenched and so were his fists. He stood up and started pacing in front of me. "How could you go in there with Jackson?" he asked.

"I didn't go by myself. I went with Allison" I told him.

"That's even worse!" he exclaimed, "You can't trust the Argents, Leila!"

I stood up from the bed, "But I trust Allison. She's my friend."

He stood in front of me angrily, "She's also an Argent. I mean they're probably already training her to become a hunter. To come after us!"

He took a step back and ran a hand through his hair, trying to calm himself down. "You could've gotten hurt or worse killed" he told me.

I stepped towards him, "But I didn't and I'm fine. I can take care of myself, Der. Jackson didn't hurt me."

He groaned in frustration, "But he could've! Don't you understand? Someone's controlling him, he's unpredictable!"

"I do understand. But I'm fine!" I exclaimed.

"God, you never think! Why're you so stupid?" he yelled, but froze at what he said.

"I never think? What about you? Ever since you became alpha, you've been making so many stupid decisions. Decisions that almost lost me, and you have the nerve to call me stupid and say that I never think?!" I yelled with tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it" he said, trying to move towards me, but I grabbed my bag and made my way towards the door.

"Leila, wait! I'm sorry!" he said as he followed me down the stairs as I made my way out of the abandoned building.
