Hellooooo! I've been having a bit of a creative block this past few weeks, that an Soul's and I birthday just came up *May 22* so squee!! Also, this chapter was supposed to be hella' long, but decided to split it into two so Chapter 61's title fits more. Anyways, ONWARDS TO THE SHOW!!!

It has been a while since Varian walked out on everyone, leaving both Eugene and Rapunzel to reflect on their past actions. Both of their minds were still processing the earlier event as if they couldn't believe that just happened. But with Varian's absence, the awkward and tense atmosphere, and the solemn looks on everyone's faces, minus Gold's blank expression, was enough to remind Rapunzel that their fight with Varian did happen.

The brunette princess let out a small heavy sigh. Looking back, she really did mess up. Bad. But...did she really? She did try her best to help him. She tried to talk to her father, she tried to solve the problem about the black rocks. But it wasn't enough... and apparently her father- Rapunzel shook her head as she desperately tried to stop and block the negative emotions. If she were also to dwell more on this now, Shrau'n's going to be more than happy to get them. Though, doing so proved to be harder than it seems.

How have things got so worse? I thought...I thought we were okay...guess not. Rapunzel thought, sighing as she placed her elbow on her thigh and leaning her chin on her palm.

"Ugh! He's still not here!" Soul shouted as she stomped her foot. "I'm going to find him." She said when her brother quickly stopped her, blocking her path.

"Woah! Woah! Woah! You're not leaving this place, young lady."Gold sternly said, sharply pointing his index finger down. "It's too dangerous to go after him!"

"Too dangerous to go after him because of what you just witnessed he did earlier or because you always thought he was dangerous and you now have evidence for it?" Soul snapped.

"Because we're still under enemy quarters and there could be danger lurking around!" Gold argued.

"That's even more of a reason to go after him! He's all alone out there and Abnus' people could very well take him out while he's vulnerable." Soul argued back.

"Look, just...listen to your brother, Soul." Lance piped in. "Varian's smart not to go too far. He'll come back soon."

"And besides, I think Varian's still cooling off, so let him do so." Eugene added. "Frankly, I also need more time to cool off. What happened earlier was...intense."

"What happened earlier was undeniably your fault. I don't normally point fingers, but you two definitely crossed a line." Soul said in a harsh tone. "I know you guys can't help but be nosy, figured that out when we first met, but did you really have to push him off the edge?"

"Look, kid, " Eugene exhaled through his nose in a huff, "blame us all you want, we get it! We screwed up. More than you know. But can you blame us for speaking our minds? We're also in truth serum. It's not like we can stop ourselves." He argued, getting a bit infuriated.

Soul bit back a reply. After all, Eugene did have a point. She really couldn't blame them for pushing Varian to spill what's on his mind. The truth serum was a bit powerful and it took all her willpower not to say anything or else she might have spilled her feelings about him. Not like she would care. It's just a small crush anyway, nothing to be embarrassed about. But speaking of Varian, now that she knows what's been bothering him, she couldn't help but feel guilty...She called him low when he first told her about his past without even considering how he truly felt and why he did those things. But after hearing the full story and what he's been through, well...she wanted to tell him how wrong she was to call him that, and just, apologize.
