"I told you guys the food here tastes great!" Eugene exclaimed as he disrespectfully burped out loud, patting his stomach after, feeling full from the amount of food he ate.
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
"It was the best food I ever tasted! Almost as good as Raps' cooking!" Kiera happily said as Catalina wiped her sister's mouth, giggling.
"Hey, what about my cooking?" Lance pouted.
"It's average." The burly man gasped, looking at her with an offended expression.
"I'm glad you all enjoyed my grandmother's cooking." A young woman said, bowing her head as she cleaned up the group's table.
"No problem, Sicily. Make sure to tell Rita that we missed her cooking." Lance said, doing a chef's kiss. "It's been so long."
Sicily nodded and grinned at him, "Will do!" The woman chirped, stacking the plates and placing them on a tray, "Now, please excuse me." She bowed again, picking up the tray with two hands as she balanced the dishes stacked on the tray and disappeared into the kitchen.
"Alright!" Samuel started, catching everyone's attention, "Now that we have eaten, where shall we go first?" He asked, lacing his fingers together as he placed his arms on the table. Kiera immediately answered.
"The Lion's head statue!" The black-haired child shouted excitedly. "I wanna see it up close!"
"What's the lion head statue?" Soul asked in curiosity. Why would someone make a lion a statue? What did the lion do to receive such praise?
"It's a statue of a lion's head, and I heard that it has a fountain show!" Kiera replied with enthusiasm. "You'll love it!"
"How do you know about this?" Lance asked, curiously.
"Cat and I have been here before. We...borrowed a lot of stuff here, but that was a long time ago!" Kiera answered, waving her hands in slight panic. "We would have returned the stuff we borrowed...."
"But we already sold them all." Catalina finished, bowing her head in shame. "We're sorry."
"Nah, it's fine. I'm glad to see you two reformed yourselves as well before it was too late." Samuel smiled, ruffling both kids' hair.
"A fountain show?" Soul repeated, highly intrigued. She's never seen a fountain show before, and the fountain in Corona only spurts out water.
"You'll see." Samuel laughed then turned to everyone. "Well then, The Lion's head statue's first. Are you guys ready to leave?" He asked.
"Yep! Let's go." Kiera answered for everyone as she excitedly stood up and grabbed the older man's wrist, attempting to pull the Aradian man.
"Woah, slow down, kid. The statue's not going anywhere." Samuel chuckled as Kiera continued to tug on his arm.
"Yeah, but there's gonna be a fountain show, and I don't want to miss it!" The child grunted. "Plus, the day is close to ending, so come on!"
"Y-yeah, I agree. I mean, it would be a waste to miss the show." Soul spoke in a quiet tone as she tried to hide her excitement. "Plus, I really want to see the Scales museum." She added as she pulled the straps of her satchel on, placing the bag on her side.
"Ah, Scales museum. I didn't know you were a big fan of history." Samuel said, raising a curious brow at the young girl.
"Not really, It's just I heard that it used to be Libra's Temple. I read that when the temple was destroyed years ago, it was rebuilt as the museum it is today. The actual temple is what I'm really after." Soul explained with fake enthusiasm.
