Three Months Later

Day Of The Last Show

I groaned as I sat up and sretched, wincing as my back cracked a few times. I quickly got out of bed and made my way to the kitchen where, for once no one was there. I just shrugged it off and reached in the fridge to get a beer. Not exactly the best thing to drink in the morning, and also not exactly legal yet, but oh well.

I pulled myself up to sit on the counter after I opened the bottle and noticed a note on the little island thing infront of me. I quickly hopped down and went over to it, putting my bottle down as I grabbed it and starting reading it.

Dear Lillie,

As you know, today is our last couple of shows, and the end of Warped. Now this saddens me deeply because I think you guys do your own little tour a few weeks after this, right? Plus, you're going to be in the studio a lot for the new album you're working on in those few weeks, meaning that we won't get to hang out much. I have a surprise for you today, though to fix this. Be sure to wear water proof make up.

Love Always,

Alexander William.

I stared at the note in confusion before shrugging it off and finishing off the last of my beer as I went to go get dressed. We were currentyl in our last stop, Houston, Texas, meaning that it would probably be about a million degrees out today. I quickly changed into my usual ripped black skinnies and pulled on a Sleeping with Sirens cut off before pulling on multiple bracelets and then doing my make up after brushing and styling my hair. By the time I was finished and satisfied with how I looked, I was fairly short on time so I had to run to the main stage to get ready.

When I got there, fans were already starting to crowd in. I smiled and waved at a few of them as they noticed me then quickly made my way backstage to get ready. I was quickly hooked up with my earpieces and microphone as we had a small sound check and I did some vocal warm ups along with some of the other guys, which made me smile.

Every once in a while as we sat around and waited for our que, the guys would look at me and wink while whispering to eachother. I just shrugged it off before my mind took off into weird thoughts, pulling me out of reality until I was hit. I quickly snapped out of my daze and glared at Nathan as he just winked at me and pulled me up from the couch.

I just groaned and started our pre-show ritual before following them on stage. Our set list was backwards today, meaning that I didn't have to go behind the drumkit until the last song, which I was happy about.I quickly ran on stage, making the crowd go wild as I started the first song.

"Thank you all so much! We have been Death Warriors and you all have been amazing!" I yelled into my mic as I bowed along with everyone else. I waved some and helped the guys throw some of their picks into the crowd before following them backstage. We ignored the tech guys and just climbed off of the back of the stage before walking over to the second main stage where we would be playing next.

By the time we got there, it was time for us to play so we all just ran on stage as the other band ran off and wished us luck as we complimented them on their amazing show even though we really didn't hear it.

"Guuuuys!" I said into the mic, feeling quiete tired yet really full of adrenaline at the same time. "Whaaat?" Nathan said, mocking me. I just flipped him off before continuing. "I think the crowd might have fallen asleep on us." I said as I smirked and turned towards the crowd that most deffinately wasn't asleep. "You know, I think you're right, for once." Aaron teased, causing me to flip him off, too. He just laughed before playing out a little riff on his guitar. "Ok we need you guys to wake up and sing with us! Can you do that for us?" I said as I bit my lip and layed with the rings that went through it.
