Alex's POV
"Alex!" I heard someone say in the distance. I quickly opened my eyes and saw I was surrounded by clouds. I freaked out for a second until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw him there with a sad smile on his face. I pulled him into a hug and he laughed as he hugged me back.
"I missed you so much Tom. Wait, am I dead?" I gasped, pulling back from him. He just shook his head and looked down and smiled as he crouched down. I crouched down next to him as he wiped the clouds out of the way and I saw Lillie sitting next to my motionless body. "So... I'm not dead." I concluded, before pressing my lips into a thin line as I listened to Lillie talking.
"Nope you're not." Tom said as he watched me listening to her. "Go ahead and make a fist and squeeze as tight as you can. Give her some hope." He chuckled, and I did exactly as he told me to do, causing her to gasp and stand up as she stood up and went to the door.
"Ok, budy, it's time for you to go back. Tell Lillie and the guys that I said I miss them and love them so much." he said as giant wings came from his back and he fanned me with them. After a few minutes, everything was black and I was very uncomfortable as I heard Lillie say something about squeezing her hand as she gribed mine. I used all of my might and turned over so I was on my side, which made her and whoever else was in the room gasp.
I layed there for a few more minutes, not moving as I listened to her tell me she loves me and thanking me for proving she wasn't insane. I used what was left of my strength and forced my eyes open, causing them to water slightly as I turned over and faced her right as the words "I'm sorry." escaped my lips, causing my eyes to go wide as she smiled at me, along with the nurse that was in there with us, who also gasped. I reached my incredibly tired arms up and wiped the tiredness from my eyes before looking down at her hands in mine.
I furrowed my eyebrows as I saw the ring that sat upon her finger. She quickly squeezed my hand as I looked up to her giving me and 'I'll explain later' look as the nurse quickly walked over to the side of the bed and started asking me questions.
"Ok, sweety, what's your name?" "Alexander William Gaskarth." "Date of birth?" "December 14, 1993" "And, can you tell me you're fiance's name?" "Lillie Hemmings." the nurse looked at Lillie as she nodded, confirming that what I said was true before writing some stuff down on a clip board. "Ok, well seeing as you are awake now, there are some people outside waiting for you. Should I let them in?" she asked as she grabbed the door knob. I looked at Lillie and she shrugged before I nodded and she opened the door, leaving the room as my bandmates, Rachel, Lillie's bandmates, Vinny, and Flyzik cam rushing into the room.
when they saw me awake, they all came over and grabbed me in a group hug which made me wince a little as I litterall hurt everywhere. When they all pulled away, I saw Jack glance at Rachel as a sad look took over his face before she turned to Lillie who tossed her the ring that she had been wearing earlier.
"Right, explain." I said as I motioned between the two of the girls who looked shocked. Hell, i was shocked took. My voice sounded weak and I had only used it a few times. I shrugged it off and watched as Lillie turned a shade of pink before she explained.
"Well, I was worried about you, but they wouldn't let anyone but immediate family in. So, being the great friend she is, she gave me her ring to wear until you woke up and everyone was allowed in." she said as she glanced over to Rahcel who was staring at a slightly sadder looking Jack.
"Right," I cleared my throat before continuing, "what's up with you two?" I asked as I looked at the couple who were looking like they wanted to fall into eachother's arms and cry, but couldn't for some reason. "Just a small argument. No worries." Jack said as he faked a smile. I just nodded skeptically and shrugged it off before butting into Rian and Lillie's conversation about upcoming tours.

"And that, is how you tie a cherry stem with your tongue." Lillie smirked as she took the small stem out of her mouth and placed it on the little tray thing that was over the bed. Everyone had left about an hour ago, but Lillie had refused to leave, saying she wanted to spend some time with me and talk about the future, which scared the living shit out of me. But for now, we were goofing off, and acting like kids again, trying so savage the last bits of youth that we had left.
"So, do you remember what happened at all?" she asked as she layed next to me with her head on my shoulder as she started playing with my fingers. I smiled lightly before thinking. I remembered going out to get some clothes for the baby, and texting Lillie about everything, then tires screaching and the sound of metal hitting metal, then everything had gone black and I woke up in the hospital.
I pulled my lips into a thin line as I shook my head, not really wanting to relive the moment. She sighed and took my hand in hers as she sat up and looked at me with a slightly scared look on her face.
"Lex, we're going to be parents in a matter of months. We can't keep up this whole make-up, break-up thing. It's either you and me against the world or it's me and little baby Gaskarth against the world." she sighed as she placed a hand over her small baby bump, which made me smile. I sat up and groaned a little as my everything still hurt when I moved before hugging her and placing a gentle kiss against her forehead.
"It's us against the world. Not just you and me anymore, Lil, it's you me and her." I said as I placed a hand on her stomach as she smiled lightly. "How do you know it's gonna be a girl?" she teased as we pulled away and she placed her hand over mine that still rested on her tummy.
"It's just a gut feeling I have." I said as I winked, causing her to laugh before she got off of the bed and quickly went into the bathroom as she said "I have to pee." I rolled my eyes at her before carefully lying back down and letting sleep over take me.

Ok guys, so this chapter is a little shorter than I would've liked, but I kinda ran out of ideas about half way through, so... Whatever. THANK YOU FOR OVER 400 READS BY THE WAY!! Like, what the fuck?
