Ok guys, so I went back and I read some of this story and it's kinda confusing as to what her background is since I really didn't explain it at all. This is what this little author's note is going to be about. So, here we go:
Lillie was born in Baltimore, Maryland back in 1994, making her almost twenty one years old. (The year that this story takes place is 2015, I'll explain the situation in a minute.) Her mom died two days after her first birthday, leaving her with her father. He didn't take well to the death of his wife and turned to drugs.
She lived with him until she was five. That was when she met Alex, Jack, Rian, Zack, and Tom. Tom took care of her as his own and she lived with him after her dad went to rehab to try and get his life back on track.
Tom died four years later, after she had turned nine, and wound up going back to live with her dad who had just got out of rehab. They stayed and lived in Baltimore for two more years until her dad got an amazing job offer in Australia.
They packed up all their things and moved there, forcing her to go to a new school and make new friends. That was how she met Luke, Michael, Calum, and Ashton. They all wound up becoming super close friends and going over to eachother's houses a lot.
That was how her dad met Luke's mom. They were always trying to make up reasons to see eachother, whether it be driving Lillie all the way over to Luke's house to just hang out or going over to pick them up to go see a movie.
This went on for another two years until her dad finally asked his mom to marry him. They of course did and moved in together soon after the engagement.
Lillie stayed close to the guys and hey hung out all the time and supported them through their youtube posting, but when she was a senior in highschool, Ashton asked her out and they dated until-well, you guys know what happened.
Ok, so that explains that, but let's go back to what I said about explaining the whole "The story is based in 2015" thing...
In the first chapter, I said that Lillie was a year younger than Alex, but I just got done saying she's 21 and we all know Alex is 27. How does his work?
Well, in my story, we're pretending that he's 22, and yea. I think that explains everything. I hope you guys enjoyed this and aren't confused anymore. If you see anything else that confuses you, just ask me about it and I'd be happy to explain it.
