TW: Violence, Bullying

Y/N: Your name
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/N was slowly regretting the choice to come to this school. Yeah, the school was the best of the best, but it didn't make its cruel personality better.
Even though they got into the top school, the staff decided Y/N barely cut it. So, now Y/N stayed in the hot and miserable E class. The stress was already bad from the moon being nearly blown to smithereens, but now Y/N was stuck here.
Karasuma already told the poor soul about the strange, and tasking objective the class had, but they were still surprised when they heard gunshots in the classroom.
"Excellent!" Y/N heard by the door of the classroom as they waited outside. Karasuma stood next to Y/N, waiting to go inside. "No tardies! Congratulations!" More voices echoed through the hall, but Y/N couldn't understand them. "No luck today either, ay? That's really too bad. What's the lesson today? That numbers don't fill in for inventiveness, perhaps? That any hack can point a gun and pull a trigger? Some of column A and some of column B." Silence poured over the class. "I get that your trying to cast the net as widely as possible, so to speak, but the post lacked originality. When the target clocks in at Mach 20, the assassin needs to think outside the box."
Did Y/N hear that right? There is no possible way that the teacher goes Mach 20. It was strange enough, assassinating their teacher, but now people can just casually go Mach 20 whenever they wanted?
There was more chatter in the classroom, but something caught Y/N's ear: "As was explained, these are "anti-me" BB's. Harmless to you, but-" A shot rang through the classroom. "Able to slip my cells like a knife through warm tofu." A squishy and unpleasant sound made it clear about Y/N's situation. "Developed by your government for that express reason. Of course, after a few seconds, I can regenerate well as new! A luxury you won't have if you accidentally shoot your eye out. From now on, no discharging guns in the classroom. Safety first!"
"He isn't human, is he?" Y/N nervously turned their head to Karsuma.
"No, he isn't." Karasuma's response was dry and honestly, pretty sad. It was like he already lost hope, which would make sense, but it still hurt
Y/N.
"Oh! I almost forgot!" The teacher exclaimed. "We have a new student!"
Y/N cautiously walked into the classroom. They kept their eyes to the ground so they didn't see the mystery teacher.
"This is Y/N, everyone. They were switching into schools, so it took Y/N longer to transfer, but I hope that wouldn't be a problem!" The teacher spoke like it was human, Y/N knew better.
"I bet she was just transferred here to assassinate him."
"She? I thought he was a guy."
"You guys really think he looks like a trained assassin? Look at him!"
Y/N heard all this chatter. It didn't really bother them, but the last thing Y/N would allow would be bullying.
With that, Y/N took their eyes off the floor as quickly as possible, glaring at everyone in the classroom. Within seconds they all shut up. A blush grew on some of the ones mouthing off.
A chuckle was heard from the teacher besides Y/N. "As I know of,
Y/N was not transferred here just to kill me. However, from now on forth, it is their objective like the rest of you. And please, be kind!"
Y/N silently walked to the back of the classroom, where an empty desk sat. They took a careful look on the ground, spotting a foot trying to trip them. Y/N simply walked to the side and ignored the whole interaction.
"You seriously think you can just walk past me like that?" The boy trying to trip Y/N angrily asked.
"Now, now, Terasaka, I did say to be kind, and at the moment you aren't being kind." The creature spoke. Y/N kept their back to him. "I will check you off if necessary."
Y/N, ignoring the teacher, barely turned their head, they looked this Tersaka in the eyes and spoke. "To answer your question, yes." At that,
Y/N just walked away and into the back row.
Tersaka growled and rolled his fist into balls.
"Shiver me timbers." Y/N's quiet voice made the class start laughing.
"Enough! Let class begin!"
Y/N had plenty of ideas for the octopus teacher. They were creative, so it wasn't hard. And, most of it was easy and sneaky enough to get the slimy teacher killed. For example, a prank set up with anti-octopus BBs over the door in a bucket, when the yellow alien walks under it, the BBs will fall from the sky. Y/N could also bake up a batch of cupcakes for the class, and offer some to their teacher, but shavings of the anti-BB's to look like fruit chunks. They would be small enough to consume without a problem and it would still kill their teacher. That wasn't even the end of it.
Maybe Y/N could set up a sneak attack with the BB guns with their classmates. They could set it up so that the alien would be trapped from the minute he walked into E class. Three students would be at the end of the hall, three would walk behind the teacher, and the last three would be at the entrance of the classroom. Behind the kids at the front of the class, there could be the rest of the class shooting at Mr. Octopus, so he couldn't escape.
"Ok!" Mr. Octopus interrupted Y/N's thoughts. "Here's a puzzler for you, Isogai!"
"Uhh, sir," Isogai responded.
Y/N snapped their head back to the board. When Y/N trained their eyes on Mr. Octopus, his tentacles were four different colors. One was white, one was blue, one was pink, and one was green.
"Which of these four tentacles is the odd man out?"
"The blue one?" Isogai's answer sounded unsure.
The teacher raised his tentacles into a circle and his face turned light orange with a darker orange circle in the middle. "Excellent! The boy who is standing employs "who" as a relative pronoun."
The teacher's speaking was tuned out by Y/N. They just looked back onto their journal full of beautiful colors and shapes. It was a hobby of theirs. Besides, it was a secret code in a way. The whole page was made on a single thought and looking at the unique colors and shapes unlocks that thought again for Y/N. It was a useful superpower for them.
Y/N sighed as they looked at the previous pages. This was what got Y/N into E-class. This note, a series of angry colors and sad shapes told a story that was hard to remember. Sadly, their amazing academic milestones weren't enough to put them in any other class.
Y/N flipped to another page, this one has a giant Cresent in the middle and circles floating randomly around it. There was no doubt what this page was about. Y/N sighed again as they looked out of the window and then back to the teacher.
It was hard to believe that he was the one to blow up the moon. And if he were to blow up the Earth next, why was he teaching a class of low-lives? That's what Y/N didn't understand.
A girl in the front row stood up and shot at the teacher, gaining Y/N's attention. She shot at the octopus, but to no avail. The alien caught the BB in between two pieces of chalk.
"Nakamura!" Mr. Octopus's face turned red, showing his anger. "I distinctly remember saying "no guns discharging in the classroom!"
Nakamura had her hand on her head, guilty of her disobedience. "I know.."
"Back row, young lady. Think about what you've done."
Nakamura groaned before heading back to the classroom.
It was kind of sad to watch these people attempt to assassinate this creature. Y/N knew they only wanted to for the 10 billion yen being offered, so that explained a few things, but still. You would think they would be more creative.
At least Y/N wasn't for the money. It was their life that Y/N wanted to save from this bastard. And, that's what made it so real for them.
