TW: Mentions of Voilence
Y/N: Your name
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was an anxious morning for Y/N. They weren't scared of the class itself, but they were nervous about the new transfer student. At first, Y/N thought Karma was messing with them about the whole transfer student thing, but the empty desk next to Y/N's proved them wrong. That didn't stop them from going to gym class and swiping their knife in the air, training to kill Koro-sensei.
"Make those knifes seen!" Karasuma ordered. "Treat every move like legit kill strike."
The students continued to swipe with their knifes.
"Your in the way here, pal. Phys. Ed is my department now," Karasuma said to Koro-sensei.
Koro-sensei became sad, "But-but, I'm lonely.."
"Find something else to do, like I don't know... there's a sand box, have a field day."
Koro-sensei sat in the sand box and whined, "You don't have to be so insensitive! The kids liked it better when I was their gym coach anyhow!"
The students stopped and stated that the octopus was wrong, remembering the crazy high standards they had to fulfill. No one could actually do what Koro-sensei tried to make them do.
"We're human beings," Sugino spoke. "I for one, think that our coach should be one, too."
Karasuma stopped the conversation, "Right! Back to work people."
"Can I ask an obvious question, sir?" Maehara asked away, "If there is an obvious point to this training, should we uh.. be practicing right in front of our target?"
"Whether it is training or studying, it's the same principal. Drill the basics and it'll serve you well." Karasuma paused before challenging two students, "Isogai, Maehara, step up. I want you to try to tag me with those knifes."
Isogai was shocked, "As a team? Do you think that is a good idea?"
"The blades are harmless, they weren't designed to injure human beings." Karasuma adjusted his tie away from his neck. "Tell you what, if you can manage to hit me, you can go home for the day."
The two boys hesitantly agreed and immediately started to charge towards Karasuma. He easily dogded them, it was sad to watch, "See that, kids? Even with the bare minimum know-how, I can practically dodge their attacks in my sleep. Their attacks have no technique."
Both boys attacked Karasuma, but he easily took them down, "If you can't get a hit on a guy like me, you don't have a prayer against a target who's top speed is Mach 20." Karasuma turned everyone's attention to Koro-sensei, who already had tea and a castle built out of sand. "See? Look."
The rest was a blur for Y/N, instead their attention was on a figure in the distance. It seemed like noone else noticed this strange figure, it was only Y/N. They recognized him and slight dread creeped into their subconscious, either way, they followed their classmates inside. Y/N only kind of listened to Sugino's complaining, their attention on Karma. Nagisa noticed Y/N's stares and followed their eyes to the red-head.
"Nagisa, so.. it's been awhile," Karma's word spooked the other three students.
Y/N wanted to leave, but they couldn't. They could only stare.
Nagisa gasped, "Karma? You're back?"
It was true that Y/N told Nagisa about Karma's appearance, but he shrugged it off as Karma being well.. Karma and messing with Y/N, or maybe even an imposter. Or it could of been the fact that he didn't want to believe his strategic friend.
"Oh, hey~" Karma's attention went over to someone in the background. "That must be the notorious Koro-sensei! Wow! He really does look like an octopus."
"Ah!" Koro-sensei rose a tentacle. "Mr. Akabane, correct? I understand that your suspension ends today, welcome back."
Y/N backed away a bit, a sense of danger arising. Why was Karma suspended? Was he really that dangerous? Y/N might be skilled, but they were still afraid.
"That being said, tardiness is a no-no," Koro-sensei's face turned purple.
"It's kind of tricky getting back into the swing of things. Oh, feel free to call me by my first name," Karma put his hand out, the one that wasn't holding strawberry milk. "Heard some nice things, teach."
"The pleasure is all mine."
Back on when Y/N first saw Karma in gym class, they saw him putting stuff of his right hand, the one a Koro-sensei is about to shake. It was obvious that Karma was going to grab his tentacle and rip it off. It was good idea, Y/N even got a little jealous that they didn't think of it first.
"It should be a fun and educational year," Koro-sensei grabbed Karma's hand, and boom, his tentacle was gone as expected.
Merely a second after Koro-sensei's hand was gone, Karma threw his milk in the air and took a swipe at him. Koro-sensei moved away even faster that Karma swiped at him.
Karma turned to the octopus, "Aw~ You are fast, aren't ya? And, who'd thought these knifes would really work. I just cut one into straps and tacked them on. Pretty elementary stuff, chief. I'm just suprised that's all it took to catch you off guard."
Karma poked and prodded, calling Koro-sensei a scaredy cat. He was so persistent, that he turned Koro-sensei red in rage.
"How do you even know this guy, Nagisa?" Kayano asked.
"He and I were in the same class our first and second year," Nagisa answered Kayano, continuing to stare at the scene. "He was violent, so violent that they expelled him and finally shipped him here. E-class is where they send you when they don't know what else to do to you. Thing is, under the circumstances, he might become a star student."
Y/N had a shiver crawl up there spine at Nagisa's words and at the intense gaze Karma gave them as he walked over. Y/N wanted to look away, but they had no idea what Karma would do if they did. They watched the redhead until he was just barely behind them, but that was a bad idea.
In that spot, Karma stopped to whisper in Y/N's ear: "I heard you got the first hit on that thing, that's impressive. But, that means you can either be a pawn, working for me, gaining my protection, or you can be my enemy. I'll let you chose."
Y/N almost growled before understanding that Karma wants a reaction from them. Instead, Y/N smiled and said nothing before walking away. Nagisa sighed, greatful that Y/N can go compete with someone as evil as Karma.
