Intermission Chapter

A/N: I am calling this an Intermission Chapter because nothing too important happens here and it basically all 'character development' and just extra stuff. You don't have to read it if you don't want to. I basically just make these chapters just because I need to make sure you know what happened in the last few minutes of the episodes that have their own chapters. Anyways, thank you and good day.

Soon enough, Y/N and Karma fell into a net made of Koro-sensei's tentacles. It didn't matter that Koro-sensei caught them, Y/N still had their eyes seal shut with tears of fear rolling down their face. Karma was so close to Y/N in the moment that he could feel their heartbeat thumping rapidly.

"Well done," Koro-sensei spoke, ignoring the crying student. "A splendidly, premeditated assassination attempt: full marks."

Y/N slowly stopped crying in the thick silence and looked around. The net was pretty big and had thick 'strings'. They tried to move off of Karma, but they were stuck to the net.

"Pretty cool, huh? I knew your bodies couldn't take being plucked out of the air at the speed of sound. And, had I moved any slower, you would of shot me," The teacher explained. Karma and Y/N wiggled at the net that clung to the both of them. "What a sticky web we weaved, ay? Lesson learned.. I hope. Now we know not to lunge after others, not to lunge off of cliffs in the first place. And, for future reference, you know that students don't die in my watch. Ever. Take that to heart the next time you jump."

Y/N sighed of relief because.. well.. they weren't dead. But, Karma gulped heavily as he was intimated by Koro-sensei's speech.

Koro-sensei started laughing uncontrollably after the dark atmosphere faded, "I finally got to witness a enemies-to-lovers troupe blossom in real life!" Koro-sensei's face turned bright pink. "Ah! Isn't love magical!!!"

Y/N huffed a sound of disgust and defeat as Koro-sensei giggled like a school girl. Both of the students' faces were slowly heating up, though they both tried to hide it.

"I swear!" Y/N furrowed their brows. "When I kill you, I'm turning you into sushi!!"

Koro-sensei just continued to chuckle, "Y/N, you are truly a kind person." Y/N  showed a look of confusion. Koro-sensei pulled his tentacles away and let the students free. Immediately, Y/N shimmied away from Karma. "You really are, Y/N. For the short time I've known you, you have sacfriced yourself twice for the others around you. That takes a great amount of courage and selflessness."

Y/N's lips pulled into a sweet, genuine smile, "Thank you."

Koro-sensei nodded and the three made their way back up the mountain and to Nagisa.

When they got back, Nagisa pulled Y/N and Karma into a warming hug, "Thank God you're ok! I thought you guys were going to die!"

Y/N felt guilty and hugged Nagisa back. They only knew eachother for a month, but they were both slightly attached. On the other hand, Karma wiggled away from the two of them.

Eventually, the four of them relaxed at the top. Y/N stayed away from the edge this time, careful not to induce their fear of heights again.

"I don't get it," Nagisa said as he stared down from the cliff's edge. "Why did you go after Karma when you clearly have a phobia of heights, Y/N?"

Y/N didn't expect Nagisa to call them out like that, so they weren't too quick to answer. "I didn't mean to go after him. It was like I couldn't control my body..." Y/N looked over to Karma in a guilty manner, scared to hurt his feelings, but then their whole demeanor changed. "What was up with that anyways? That attempt clearly wouldn't work, it's like you're not actually thinking, Karma."

Karma shrugged, "What really sucks is that was my last bet. Nothing that I can come up with even touches it."

Y/N sighed in a mix of dissapointment and of just being tired. Meanwhile, Koro-sensei teased Karma. Nevertheless, Karma swore to kill Koro-sensei just like Y/N did. The students left shortly after, walking back to the subway.

On the way, Karma and Nagisa talked, while Y/N remained mainly silent. That was until Karma decided to tease Y/N.

"Hey, I was just thinking..." Karma spoke. Y/N's ears perked in Karma's direction, showing that they were listening to him. "You finally fell for me, Y/N. I knew you couldn't resist my good looks!!"

Y/N actually laughed at Karma's attempt at teasing instead of turning red and annoyed like normal. "You can only dream, diablo."

"Diablo?" Nagisa asked. "Isn't that the Spanish word for 'Satan'?"

Y/N nodded, "Yeah, it's my new nickname for Karma since he pretends to be super big and bad."

"Oh, so you're taunting me, now?~" Karma said while drawing out an exaggerated whine. "So cruel!!"

The banter continued and for once.  Y/N didn't want to compete against Karma, and not just because Karma is scary, but because they thought he was some what enjoyable. At the same time, Y/N thought of Nagisa and how sweet he was. They were so greatful they had amazing classmates that accepted them.
